I haven't been to a doctor in 9 years
I live in a socialist country where healthcare is "free" and I haven't been to my family doctor in 4 years because
> have disdain for the medical class AKA women who are owned by pharmaceutical companies
>takes too long to get an appointment
Is it Canada?
That's why I don't go. It's never actually free, they don't give a single frick, they're all brown or women (hate nurses especially btw) or they try to fricking kill me.
>have mini-stroke at 19 from excessive Monster consumption
>see 4 doctors, be told I'm "too young for heart problems"
>FINALLY manage to get a white, male doctor
>let's get you checked out immediately
>WALA, get my diagnosis and treatment options same day
Another
>lowest I've ever been, think about suicide daily, actively drinking a 40oz of Jagermiester every night
>decide okay I probably need help I'll talk to doc
>Dr.Ali, because ofc
>doesn't listen at all to what I'm saying, prescribes whichever medication lines her pockets the best
>take it for a week, symptoms sky rocket
>try hanging myself with a belt, belt breaks because fat
>Too fat to kms kek (why I'm IST now)
>tell doctor, prescribes me new medication
>decide to look into both medications
>Same. Exact. Chemical. Same. Exact. Medication.
>labeled under sister branding
Never been to a doctor since. Can't trust them, they're all fricking criminals and they need to have their fricking heads caved in.
It's best to just live the healthiest life you can and never visit doctors. That's what I plan to do. If my genetics lead me to dying at 55 then so be it.
the best health care ive had in my life was from a young white male physician who had an open mind. seems like boomers are just moronic
>broken leg?
>just walk it off anon hur hur youll live
Where do you even find white male doctors these days?
Yup, I had Lyme's disease. Classic symptoms of the big bullseye rash on my leg, shooting pains in my spine, and fever. I'm a forester so I work outside and picked ticks off myself 3 times a week roughly
>1st doctor was African, told me I didn't have Lyme's disease because there is no Lyme's in England. Started rambling about zebra which I'm not sure is a medical term or he was just African. Asked for a second opinion which was scheduled 3 weeks later.
>2nd doctor was Indian. Told me I can't have Lyme's disease because I live in town. Like bacteria magically disappear in urban areas. Asked for another opinion and he refused because he was the second opinion.
>3rd doctor was a white Briton, took me seriously and gave me antibiotics. Silly tit did give me antibiotics that're ineffective against Lyme's tho but at least he tried to do his job.
>mini stroke
>lowest I’ve ever been
Damn your situation sounds a lot like mine. Can you elaborate on the mini stroke thing? I think I had that but normal soda and not energy drink.
I mean, it felt like what they tell you a stroke feels like I suppose. I didn't smell burning toast, but electricity? Like, when some wires short out, that kinda smell. I think the symptoms vary heavily but mine were pretty typical of a stroke stroke, just didn't do permanent damage. I was tuning my guitar and my hand went numb, and then limp, smelled the funny smell and my face went numb. It was pretty scary. I'm not sure how much soda you're drinking anon but I was quite literally consuming 10 monsters a day pulling 80hrs a week at work. Rotted my teeth to the point where I now look like a crackhead and will need dentures, fricked my liver for a bit, and gave me a stroke. Stay away from soda and energy drinks my man.
Good job. Get fit enough to kill them.
Primary care attracts either the doctors with a huge amount of passion for their community that they would take a 400k a year pay cut or the bums who are just there to make mom proud and don't really like doctoring.
That’s true. General practitioners don’t really make that much in terms of doctors.
Feels good to be in a neoliberal limbo sometimes, the only doctors here are only white, rich and well-educated
Like 5 years ago, I just change the date on my med form every year
I've never heard of anyone getting a physical here in the UK unless they're like 50+ maybe.
Do Americans really get physicals every year?
I wish they introduce an annual blood panel in the UK. Would be nice to have one done once a year as a preventative measure.
Yeah. It sure why that Englishman is acting surprised at annual checkup. Getting blood pressure and blood work checked is quick and good way to catch a many issues early.
Yeah we get free physicals once a year but they basically just check that you aren’t dying or have visible scoliosis.
Do you need someone to tell you this? Literally look in the mirror. Tbh considering the average American thinks that diet Coke cancel out calories I'm not surprised.
how does a mirror tell you that your heart/lungs start to sound weird
You should check your hearing if you can't hear your lungs or heart.
idiot
A lot of us do. We also have dentists.
my sides
Ummm Brits have healthier teeth than Americans
That's because most healthcare in this country is on the infamously homierdly NHS. After the its imminent collapse, when everyone will be dependent on employer health plans, you will see annual health checkups here too.
Yes. We go to doctors and pay them money to tell us we’re fine and then we go back and pay them again when they tell us to come back and pay them again. Many American businesses work like this.
In eastern europe we have annual physicals. Like 20 blood tests, cardiogram, echoscopy of all organs, etc.
For lt, pl and cz.
I get physical every night, if you know what I mean
I don't get physical at night anymore, I told Mrs Right to stop seeing me cause she was stealing my gains. If you know what I mean.
In Uk people get Medicaid every year.
I haven't been since the start of the memeflu
i didnt even know that was a thing lol, must be american
Built for BBC
haven't had a physical or dentist appointment since i was a high schooler ~3 years ago
Need her to check my prostate fr
I have been to a doctor once in the last 5 years to get tested for STDs.
Never, doctors and healthcare is a waste of time.
i havent been to a doctor or dentist in 11 years. dont trust them
I've never gotten a physical done in my life.
Lol this guy didn't play any sports
I did, and my nurse mother always faked the physical exam for me.
I waited 14 years between physicals, I had one completed a couple weeks ago when I was thinking about quitting my job. If you're healthy I think either the hospitals or insurance companies recommend every 3~ years or so for men?
haven't had one in probably 10 years
>alright mr. anon, as part of your yearly physical we're going to have to extract a sperm sample to check on your genital health, so I'm gonna have you go ahead and pull down your pants for me, okay?
wat do, bros
>wat do, bros
>Are you gonna be in the room with me for the sample extraction?
>Oh anon, tehe
>*gets on her knees*
>hehe i'd expect you'd be bigger
>no need to be embarassed, i see it all the time
>locks you in chastity after ruining your orgasm
>so mr. anon, your going to need to wear this for the next 30 days
>Taylor Rider
I bet I know what she's gonna do.
Pull down my pants
Last time was in collage, 6+ years ago. Don't care really, the goal here isn't a long life, it's a good life.
I haven't seen a doctor or dentist in 15 years. Not overly critical of medicine or scared of shots just never have time for it and work nights.
I get a rectal exam several times a weak
My dentist has an assistant that was just like this from behind
Big fat ass in the scrubs and exact same hair
there's just something about nurse butt in those scrubs that drives me wild
a lot of nurses seem to be latina too and they have pretty big asses on average
>had checkup on a lump above my nipple last month
>doctor who inspects is a young qt
>she starts fondling the lump
>uncomfortable and therefore need to ease the tension
>say "I've also heard strange sounds in my nipple haha"
>thought she might put her ear to my nipple and rub against it
>instead she looks confused and asks what kind of sound
>I say "I HEARD IT SAYING... BEEP BEEP I AM MILKBOT 5000"
>she looks confused and says it's probably nothing
At least the lump was OK
I'm assuming it wasn't cancer? What was it anon?
lipoma
lipoma balls
>women
>humor
Dont, i noticed that 9out of 10 dont get my sarcasm.
It probably was and she just said it was nothing to get you out of her office
No you didn't.
Please say sike
my what
Idk why britbongs are complaining about not getting physicals, I see my doctor once a year for him to do some labs, stick a finger up my ass then charge me $500.
Im a brit and dont care. Every time ive ever had a problem ive been able to just go to a GP and get what I need for free (obviously I pay taxes).
Ive broken my arm, and 4 of my toes over 24 years and got care for it no questions asked.
>have visible dryness, flaking, physical pain, daily bleeding in my nose
>wait 3 months for an appointment with a otolaryngologist
>"just live with it =)"
>try to get my times worth by asking questions
>shoos me out of the office in about 3 minutes total
Drawing blood makes my blood pressure drop and that's a phobia for me, therefore I do not go to the doc 🙂
Live in California.
>call many doctors clinic.
>"we dont have appointments for yearly checkups at the moment." (X4).
>call somewhere else. "Yeah. We do have general check ups but is just telehealth AKA zoom appointment with a doctor" wtf... nvm
>call somewhere else 2 weeks ago.
"Yes, we can have you up for a general/physical check up, our next available appointment is on Feb. 2023."
I did just Hang up.
Is it possible to get a female doctor do administer a prostate exam?
