How Much Caffeine - Leg Days

I've read that you actually gain tolerance to caffeine quite quickly, and that you should use it sparingly, and preferably only on leg days, since those tend to be the most exhausting. Caffein essentially prevents the release of GABA, which is an inhibitory neurotransmitter that makes you more tired, giving you more fatigue and not allowing you to work out as hard. After leg days, my bench press days are the hardest, but I don't get exhausted to the point I feel like caffeine would do anything. Back, biceps, shoulders, and forearms days are the least fatiguing.

Ideal dose of caffeine is around 50-75mg 3 or 4 days a week. Most consume way more. 300mg a day is crazy. Anything above like 150 and your not even seeing any more benefits, it's just pointless and wrecks your tolerance

Why daily dose it? I just want to megadose it for leg day to minimize how tired I get. I fricking hate all that volume for my massive legs with tons of nerve endings.

Kek. I'm not that anon, and I'm OP. I actually want to see what 1000 mg will do for me for a leg workout with as little tolerance as possible. I won't take it all at once. I'll start out with around 600 mg caffein, and then drink energy drinks throughout my workout, possibly getting myself to somewhere around 1200 mg of caffein for the whole workout. I've got this one Bucked Up energy drink that contains 300 mg of caffeine alone. I didn't realize it until I looked it up, but a 16 oz Monster Energy only has 160 mg of caffeine.

Bump. I know some of you anons must be using this shit for its ergogenic effects. It should reduce your fatigue and allow you to get harder sets with more volume.

It seems like taking a full gram before a workout could cause issues, but what is the upper limit of caffeine I could take before a leg day workout? I plan on taking a few caffeine pills and drinking energy drinks throughout the workout.

What's the deal with taurine and quinine with drugs like caffeine and clenbuterol?

        >Early research shows that taurine, especially if combined with other ingredients, can act as a natural sedative to calm anxiety and lessen reactivity to stress, therefore allowing you to sleep more easily at bedtime.

all i know is that when i take alot of it(especially with a lot of caffeine in my system) it just becomes impossible to stay awake.
my whole body is begging me to crawl into bed
i always wake up feeling extremely relaxed but super thirsty.
but i think thats a good trade off.
        like right now
i had 2 espresso like 3 hours ago, and i just took 3000mg of taurine and im finding it hard to even type this out.
there is a good chance i just pass the frick out after i send this.
also its perfectly safe, you can have like over 7000 and still be totally fine.

Isn't taurine in redbull? Do you have to go to the darknet to buy it in bulk if it's as powerful as you describe?

            >Isn't taurine in redbull?
            yes
its so you can keep drinking energy drinks with a reduced risk of heart attack or whatever
it calms you as much as it "energizes" you
there is 2000 in a zero ultra.
it might not work the same way for you as it does for me
i have been told i drink a ridiculous amount of coffee so i probably just have much higher tolerance than most.

I thought taurine is supposed to give you energy, not calm you down, hence the name, from bull.

oh and nah you can just buy it like protein powder
              over the counter.

              nope
              >It helps support nerve growth. It might also benefit people with heart failure by lowering blood pressure and calming the nervous system.
and taurine is naturally in meat and fish but in the mid 100s
but if you want 1000s of mg of it you need to take a supplement
              its also super cheap
1kg for like idk $20 or less?

Not that anon, but you're moronic for thinking this way, with a few exceptions. If someone believes something that is impossible to prove, then he's a psychotic moronic, and this is literally your typical religious follower.

You don't need to provide evidence for shit that is obvious and common sense. Although, taurine doesn't really do anything. It's in our bodies, but seems to play a very minor role. The taurine in energy drinks doesn't really do anything. It's all a placebo effect.

You misunderstood. It's bullshit. It doesn't do anything. Whatever effects taurine has in the human body are extremely minor, because there are no serious studies that show any measurable effects.

What you really are after is blood pressure.
    You lqck proper warmup.
A good advice from my wrestling coach was to run and warm up till your heartrate hits 150. Then do the training.
It works wonders, and you can really hit those exhaistion levels, where you feel great mentally and oxygen wise but your muscles just cant lift anymore.
Major difference from not being able to lift due to poor blood circulation

      >You lqck proper warmup.
My warmups are long as frick. They typically take up a solid 20 minutes.
      >A good advice from my wrestling coach was to run and warm up till your heartrate hits 150. Then do the training.
With lifting, you just want to warm up the muscles, tendons, and ligaments to prevent injury. That's the only point, but it's very important. You don't want to cause any damage that puts stress on your body and doesn't contribute to hypertrophy or strength gains.
