When's the last time you left your house to go somewhere other than the gym? Do you really think most people can do a pull up? Most people can barely tie their shoes effortlessly

The 12 minute mile is even more outrageous

I always wondered why there is not a clear weight goal for curls, like 1/2/3/4. I'm a beginner, doing hammer and bicep curls with 25lbs is okay or low or good?

There is it's one plate on and ez curl bar which is 105lbs total, for 5 reps of course.

    >Average 12:17 mile
This has to be rage bait, right?

It says 13% are fit and the average includes the unfit 87%. A lot of fats are bringing the mile time closer to the fast walk that is 15min. 10min mile is a leisurely jog.

Seems pretty low at first when comparing to picrel. However considering the conscripts are all aged 18-28 and have the absolute worst material weeded out already, the magazines claim is perhaps not that unreasonable.

Surprised the average male height is 5'9. Most American men I meet are 6ft and up. Probably all the immigrants and old people bring that average down I suppose.

Not much, I strict curl 65lbs dumbells, I'm 5'10" 175lbs and my lifting is in the elite level tier. Anyone below 200lbs who does 45lbs is still top tier though.

    Is this a shop?
Those are abysmal stats for someone who looks like that.
    >$874 spent yearly on vitamins
    >just under 3 hours of exercise per week
    >can only do 1 pull up
    >12 minute mile

they're talking about the average male with the stats, the guy is just a model and obviously is not representative of the average american male

    Bodyweight and height are significant.
I'd say 45 is good vs the general pop

I can curl 35lbs for 10+ reps, but I still look skinny as fuck. Without flexing, you wouldn't be able to tell that I lift.

When do my muscles actually become big?

You people have a distorted view of reality. I don't think 10% of males can even run for 10 minutes without passing out.

Everything is measured as the average man, except heart beats per minute. That's listed as the average of a fit person.
