How exactly do you plan to reach a weightlifting goal without weightlifting

this is IST so I’m going to have to recommend a 5000 calorie a day plan(mostly comprised of milk) supplemented with a 5x5 or back squats every 3 days

Shitty goal. Proper calisthenics will get you way more ripped, and even bigger, than that lanklet.

Barbell is more efficient that calisthenics because the progressions and benchmarks are smooth.

If you do easy calisthenics like pushups and chins you can just add volume or a weight belt and be fine/minimal equipment.

    >If youre chasing the planche or one arm pull ups with minimal equipment it will take you a long time becauae power to weight ratios necessitate a certain body composition on top of uneven progression steps

    >if youre chasing the previously mentioned skills with recommended and specialized equipement then barbell will still be more efficent because of body composition requirements but the progressions will at least be linear

Easy, volume-focused calisthenics are very efficient and the minimal equipment set up make them great. You can just do push ups till failure at work once every hour if you want. You cant bring a bench to work. Harder calisthenics should be done for love, not efficiency
