I assume you're trying to gain mass but failing at it? Eat calorie-dense food. Fat has twice the amount of calories per gram that carbs and proteins have. Having a burger? Add bacon to it! Fry your eggs in butter. Put peanut butter in as many things as you can. Eating potatoes? Butter. Veggies? Butter. Drink milk if you can. Eat pasta, particularly lasagna with plenty of greasy meat in it. And snack between meals.

I guess I'll start adding butter to stuff thanks, I had peanut butter oatmeal today which was good

Put olive oil into your shake. A single tablespoon is over a 100 calories and you won't even taste the difference

I don't have a blender to make shakes

Butter guy here. When I worked factories, I ate well over 3k calories a day and still lost weight since I worked so hard I burned them all. Typical food consumed in a work day looked like this:

        >breakfast: potato roasted in butter, two eggs, three slices of baloney roasted in butter, two slices of toasted bread with peanut butter and a tall glass of orange juice
        >lunch: three ham sandwiches and two cans of Pepsi
        >dinner: Large steak and two baked potatoes

        Hopefully this helps.

i'd also reccomend adding yogurt to oatmeal as well. it mixes well with peanut butter, and if you want to, you can add fruit for more flavour. yogurt and fruit also help with the texture when eating oats imo.

also dont knock till you try it, but peanut butter on a hamburger is also pretty good. you can add it ontop as a spread or cook it into the patty.

1 cup with each meal should be enough to put you in surplus

Milk + instant oats + whey can reach high calories
Curry + rice can easily be 1000
Bagel + cheese or halloumi + mayonnaise can be close to 1000

But what have you been eating?
Simple things I dropped for my current cut which can pile on calories easily are oatmeal porridge made with whole milk, full fat cottage cheese -- in fact most cheese altogether. So you could try adding those.

Rice, lentils, chicken, oatmeal, yogurt , low fat cottage cheese, fruits, pb

using milk for the oatmeal is a good idea

Apart from the low fat bit, that's a good summary of what I can easily overeat with, so I think it may be portion sizes as well.

If I have big bowl of porridge, a heaped plate of chicken and lentil curry w/rice, cottage cheese, yoghurt with whey and blueberries, then graze on fruit and cheese, I will steadily put on the pounds.

I will never believe people who struggle to be on a surplus. Not when all the fast foods, candy, juices, sodas exist. I would maybe understand if you tried to consume 2000 calories worth of fruits or vegetables. But otherwise not really. You can eat a whole chocolate bar and 15 minutes later you will still be hungry because it has empty calories. And you can always add oil / butter to your protein shake for free 500+ calories, and I promise - you won't even notice it was there.

      >You can eat a whole chocolate bar and 15 minutes later you will still be hungry
Normal people can't tolerare extremelly sweet things like chocolate like you amerilards do. This is not a meme, I could not eat this 300g bar of delicious chocolate because at 100g (530 calories) I would be absolutely sick of it and I would not be able to fit anything else for many hours.

I can eat like 1250 calories of pizza in one sitting but I will feel bloated for many hours.
