Muscles in the forearm control wrists and fingers. So exercises that aim at that.
Climbing will train the shit out of your forearms if you want to do it the fun way.

You pray that you were born with thick wrists.
Forearm size is very strongly limited by wrist size. You can get nice-looking forearms no matter what, but if you want the really "thick" look you need thick wrists.

I climb and mine aren’t particularly big. I think 13 inches at 15% bf 150 lbs but I can grip 150lbs grippers with one hand so strength is definitely there

My massive forearms have been repeatedly commented on during work meetings since they look gigantic when my webcam is angled correctly with the fraud lightning + I stand at my desk so it's super easy to fraudmaxx

My secret was being 30 BMI while bouldering 3x a week for three years

My calves grew similarly while doing long distance running (60km+ a week) across hilly trails

Both these muscle groups are very difficult to grow in a gym and are much easier to grow when you're +20kg over recommended weight

CalistheBlack folk are the new vegans
They need everyone to know that they are into lifting their own body.

Doing it on the pad makes it easier

brb gonna try this and report back

There a small space where the kettlebell is standing, it helps switch side

You can get defined forearms doing farmers walks and hammer curls but you'll never get huge forearms unless it's in your genetics. Same thing goes with calves and even chest to some extent.

this makes me sick to even think about it again, but a methhead came in my store yesterday. I thought "holy frick matt looks like popeye! his forearms are huge" and then I almost puked. His fricking elbow is totally broken. Like broken bad. His arms moving in two different places and all of the muscle in his biceps has slumped down his skin into his forearm making it nearly ten fricking inches in diamter. He's sippin on a mcdonalds smoothie, rolls his broke fricking arm around it's new socket in a circle, grabs his meth bubble, and limps out. Jesus christ. That things probably been broken at least two weeks. There's purple fricking veins popping through his skin over the break jesus frick

train grip, pull ups and chin ups are pretty good for that... also any workout that involves handling heavy shit in irregular patterns will work you forearms and wrists pretty good

I do reverse curls as my main forearm progression. It can be progressed by a lot of weight so the only thing that beats it is a sick double overhand deadlift. I also make sure they feel the pain though by putting my arm on the bench like pic related and doing wrist curls. Up explosively and down slow and controlled. I do one set to failure and go up in weight when it hits 20 reps, but your optimal set rep scheme is going to depend on your strength level and programming method.
