I was there myself, pretty much exactly where you are, you probably have more muscles than I did underneath. From looking at your skin, I would estimate you are on the wrong side of 30 and your body burns less calories than before. To escape you need to learn about food. Make a calorie-budget and add recipes within that budget. Stick to it and if you indulge, get back on track. One meal, one day and one week of eating does not make you fat, and one week of a healthy lifestyle does not make you healthy. You are starting a process and journey that you will be better for at the end in all areas in your life.
It took me a while, but it does not have to. Even in 6 months you can look great, feel great and live great. But you have to do the work. Good luck.
I'd start with keto btw. More often than not, it is excessive carb/sugar addiction that is the issue. That shit is yummy. Cakes, cookies, candy, pizza, pasta, beer, most things. The biggest thing about keto is eliminating those high calorie food-sources and you will stop craving them once you eat clean.

Every process in your body requires energy, food is energy including carbs. it is not viable to eat 3000 cal of protein and fat to build muscle keto homosexuals don’t build muscle efficiently.
Lose weight while lifting till you are 10-12% bf, eat at a small surplus and change your routine to a PPL for more volume and keep going until you are 15% bodyfat, then slowly cut again.

200-300g carb
40-60g fat
150-200g protein
Lift 3-4 times per week on beginner program. Add in 20-30min of light cardio like walking on incline after workouts or daily. Go for walks.
