    Learn to eat cans of tuna without dressing them up. One can = 45ish protein. Two cans and you're half way to your goal. Toss in eggs for breakfast, a protein shake, 5 oz of chicken breast, and you're done.

        Lmao you don't need 187g of protein. The pound to protein ratio refers to your lean body mass.
        At 5'8 you lean body mass is probably around 130g. I'm 6'4 and have been lifting for 3 years. There's no way in hell we have the same lean mass.

    for the average young person, 100-150g is optimal. Protein intakes are vastly overestimated as you can see from this thread, a large majority of posters responded with utilizing whey. It is not a coincidence that fitness influencers and science that are usually backed by supplement companies recommend an amount of daily protein that would be hard to take in with whole foods and must be supplemented.

    Get at least 30-40g of protein at breakfast, lunch is whatever, then a large bolus at dinner, another 30-40g or more, up to 60g. This is based off of 37 year old adults, so their ability to digest protein is actually worse than a younger person's.
