How to get thin so I can look fem

Trying to lose enough weight to be at least 180 and thinner. I am currently 240 and looking to get thinner. I am currently eating 800 calories or under in a day plus walking in the treadmill for 30 minutes. I usually eat eggs in a keto wrap with some cheese and hot sauce and sometimes pork roll. Then somedays I will eat grilled chicken breast. It doesn’t feel like I have lost much so I don’t know if I’m doing it right. Is there something I’m doing wrong, is it really just genetics?

      I’m 5’10, been doing this for 3 weeks consistently. I’m going at it alone, a lot of the info on YouTube and the internet is confusing. So many ways to go about it.

          walking 30 minutes on the treadmill isn't going be enough, especially I don't know if you're moving at a molasses pace

          add weights and elliptical/steps into your routine as well

          I have a shitty treadmill at home but I could run on it. Thought about getting a set of weight and doing those as well. Whenever I run for an extended period my throat feels like it’s on fire though.

            You're out shape. That's how it's going to be until you build tolerance for it.

            Just start slow and continue to build on it, until you feel comfortable. Then you can add another 30 seconds to a minute every time.

              If he's really out of shape and weak/sedentary jogging could frick up his joints.

              I think just going for 30-60min walks around your hood will do plenty while you're eating 800 calories a day.

              That's dangerously low though, Anon. If you're not losing weight something isn't adding up. How long have you been doing this? It's normal to lose 1-2lbs of fat a week if you're not crash dieting or going full auschwitz

                good point. I never was 200+ pounds so I wouldn't know how much force I am putting on my joints.

                I work a job where I’m on my feet 60-70% of the time. I have had joint problems ever since I was born but it doesn’t really affect me. I cheat 1 day a week and it’s usually on Saturday or Sunday when I go out with my friends. It’s not every weekend but likely every other weekend so I eat 1000-1300 on those days. Then it’s back to normal.

                Diet sodas can cause insulin spikes leading you to gain or not lose weight.

                Drop those asap. The reccomendation for carbonated water is a good one if you can't/won't drop the fizzy drinks just yet.

    gonna take a while for your body to get out of starvation mode and get into thermogenesis/anabolic mode. just keep at it and eventually your body will enter ketosis and burn fat.

    i typically avoid recommended bullshit diets to people, you dont have to eat a ketogenic diet to achieve ketosis. but in your case the only thing that matters is if you can stick to any diet at all, if its working for you then keep it up

    make sure to some stretching as well

    it will help with your mobility especially when it come to lifting and moving around
