      Less? I weigh 175lbs@5'10, I can shed 3~4 kgs of fat tho I don't think that's much.

      Do weighted pullups idiot

weighted pull ups and weighted dips/ push ups

Already doing those, how much weight should I aim for? I can do 5 with a pl8.

aim for 300lbs total. you weigh 175 so that would be 125lbs added. After you hit that, aim for 2x bodyweight

We did pushups non-stop in the Army. I hit the plateau/max in basic training at about 55 reps in the 2 minute PT test.
3 fricking years of push ups later I still never improved.
I started lifting when I got out the Army and after a few months of bench pressing decided to add push ups for the hell of it.
In a couple weeks I was doing 80-90 reps.
    Pushups are a gay meme.
The only way to improve is too add muscle mass to your pecs.
You wont do that doing pushups to failure 3x week for years on end.

This, bench 225 20 times and 100 pushups is easy asf

and of course the Army solution to not improving on pushups....is to do more pushups.
One time they wanted everyone to have higher PT scores so for months up to the PT we did hour-long pushups and sit ups to failure 5 days a fricking week.
Guess what happened? That's right, no improvement.
And of course the entire chain of command just said "well you're not trying hard enough. You should do pushups on weekends too"
      Fricking morons I swear.

Bigger pecs and triceps make pushups easier but the best way to get better at them like anything is to just do it.

Russian method 3 times per week + 2-3 sets of weighted pull ups 2 times per week.
Save 2-3 reps per set during the weighted pull ups.

    Do bench press
    Do lat raises
    Do shrugs
Finish off your workout with pull ups
But instead of focusing on the number of pull ups, maintain the position until failure multiple times

Also if this is for the miltiary they are way more obsessed with run times than anything else.
