you can moisturise your body just like your face
just washing with water is cleansing hotter = more stripping
and soap is generally very stripping
showering colder so you don't cleanse too much, exfoliating, ofc get a loofah or smth, and moisturising
that's the 90% of it you can copy skincare for bodycare so just look up normal skincare for your body

Dairy is the #1 thing that makes me break out. I live most of my life with literally 0 pimples besides the occasional surface level one when I'm careless about washing my sheets or touching my face a lot. Last week I ordered a burrito at my regular spot but forgot to nix the cheese like I usually do. Ate it regardless and the next day I get one deep pimple and two extremely pus filled ones that pop up out of nowhere. At least try it, man, and figure out if you're like me. Is dairy really worth skin for you?

          Anonymous

I eat greek yoghurt, kefir, and whole milk literally every single day, sometimes cheese as well. Dropping all of those would remove like 800+ calories from my diet, and I don't know what I would put in to replace them (due to micronutrients etc)
          >At least try it, man, and figure out if you're like me. Is dairy really worth skin for you?

dairy only makes you break out bc youre lactose intolerant and it causes bacterial overgrowth in your intestine

          https://i.imgur.com/bhCXRIo.jpg

I want to have flawless, spotless skin so bad bros

the main factor in bad skin is bacterial overgrowth in the intestines and PUFA
stop eating PUFA first of all, this alone clears up many peoples skin problems entire
to cut down on bacteria eat foods that absorb very quickly
avoid anything with gums (guar gum, acacia gum, locust bean gum, etc), avoid eating too many vegetables, depending on your gut health you might also want to replace all the starch in your diet with sugar
eat a carrot salad once every couple days (just shredded carrots, dress with coconut oil, salt, vinegar) to clear out excess bacteria

also make sure youre getting enough vitamin a, acne is also often caused by vitamin a deficiency
best source is egg yolks or liver

Unironically hit the sauna every day or do intense cardio and take a shower immediately after either. Preferably cold showers as to not dry out your skin. Then use lotion to moisturize. Sweating is by far the most effective way to exfoliate your skin and get all the diet and oils out of your pores. Literally there is not a single product that works better. The only caveat is that you need to rinse off your sweat after. If not it will just pool up with all that dirt and grime and clog your pores even more. When I was in my sauna 5 days a week phase I used to get compliments left and right about how clear my skin was.

Regular > steam. Really though it’s not about the sauna. It’s about making you sweat and saunas make you sweat like crazy. I like to hit the sauna for 15 min and take a shower directly after. At the very least just rinse off.

The meme methods are shit like sugar and lemon scrubs. Kojic acid soap and whatever they sell to korean women is a bit less meme and then real and fast result stuff would be whatever a cosmetic dermatologist will prescribe or advise you to use.
I don't really get why you would want to whiten all your skin, but my arms are more tanned than I want rn so I might use kojic acid and be more diligent with sunscreen to get them back to the shade I want, and then go to a nude beach a few times to get the rest of my body to be a little more than pure white.

Fellas I need some serious help with my hands. I work as an EMT in my state’s largest city and if I don’t want to catch AIDS I need to wear gloves, but wearing them causes this shit.

Dry weeping eczema and this isn’t even the worst it’s been, after having a couple days off they will heal but once I start working again and wearing the gloves and sweating the flare ups happen. Someone help.

      Anonymous

What kind of gloves you have to wear?

        Anonymous

The ones in the ambulance are made of nitrile and ones at hospital are vinyl, no matter what brand or material though I always have problems, same thing would happen with gloves at the restaurants I would work at

Bro you ain't working shit you look like you're 400lbs

I am 220 lbs sir but yeah that hand looks fat as frick lmao

have you tried cotton glove liners?

Yes I have, they’ve helped out somewhat but sometimes the eczema will weep and just soak the glove liner in that spot, plus there are some really time time sensitive calls (like CPR) where I don’t have time to put them on before the regular gloves.

        homie use cortisol cream,
yes you will catch shit you don't want

What cortisol cream would you recommend?

          Anonymous

Do not use cortisol, it will thin the skin and after you stop using it that thing will quadruple in size. You need to fix the root cause, and the root cause is your gloves. Trying to fix the symptoms will leave you in and endless spiral, especially after the steroid cream

  18. 1 year ago

    Face:
-Tretinoin everyday before bed, cover with hydrating cream
-cleanse face and apply SPF hydrating cream upon waking up

    Rest of body; alternate between:
-Tretinoin mixed with hydrating lotion after nightly shower
-Cerave SA lotion on whole body after nightly shower (SA lotion is an exfoliating lotion so you have to slowly build up your routine if you want to use it with tretinoin)

          Anonymous

I didn't bother with Rx. I buy it online (highstreetpharma).
Moisurizer with SPF is obligatory. Start slow. First week mix pea sized amount with moisturizer and apply only once per week. Next week apply twice per week. Then thrice per week etc. Even then you'll purge. Your skin will get red, flaky and dry. Purging without break outs is possible but I wouldn't count on it. I would just go straight for the 0.1 % tret and apply half a pea sized amount. GL

It does require a prescription, but I didn't even bother with my doctor because I doubt I would get a prescription. I use a-ret by menarini. It doesn't really matter which brand as long as the active component is tretinoin. I use menarini because it spreads nicely. I use Cerave facial moisturizing lotion with 25 spf. Would like 50 spf but the 50 spf creams I tried didn't suit me. I tried la roche posay 50 spf and it dried out my skin too much. The Cerave one above is very soothing and hydrates nicely and it works for me because I get less sun exposure than most (you can always apply more cream anyway). Apply only at night on a clean face before bed. Your face should not be wet or damp, but you shouldn't intentionally dry it out. You should apply it at night because light inactivates tretionin (supposedly your skin more readily uptakes tretionin at night as well but I didn't look too much into that aspect). You shouldn't apply tretinoin on damp skin because you'll get too much inflammation.

I use it on eyelids, under the eyes, around the eyes, etc. It reduces pigmentation and texture. It works, yes.

              is me btw

Drink plenty of water, 2 litres a day minimum

Avoid alcohol or anything that dehydrates you
Massage is good and keeps skin firm
Supplements do jack shit in my experience, focus on keeping skin hydrated and regular sauna’s keep skin clean
