How to stop being tired every day

I pretty much just sleep all day every day and am too exhausted to do anything. Idk if this is the right board but is there anything I can do fitness-wise to not be so tired all the time? I pretty much just eat meat vegetables and rice. Idk if it's diet related. When I fast I have more energy but eventually crash. I'm also very weak, can only lift about 40 pounds or so. I weigh 120lbs and am 5' 4". How do I become not a fragile rotting corpse with no energy?

Start taking melatonin before you go to bed and set an alarm for exactly 8 hours later. If you do this long enough it'll become your natural sleeping pattern,

Doesn't you brain stop producing melatonin when it gets it artificially or something? In the past I've tried to do this and I just got addicted to melatonin it felt like. Maybe I was doing it wrong. I imagine a phone addiction will need to be conquered to fix my sleep schedule too. But I'll try this, thank you for the advice.

Not first melatonin man, but my experience is use a low dose like 1-3 mg, maybe 5, 1 hr before you want to sleep. Then let the natural push of sleepiness tell you to wrap up what you’re doing and go to sleep.

Supposedly activity like running in the morning helps signal your body at the end of the day it’s time to recover (sleep)

This looks beyond the scope of a fit board but I'll try.
Maybe your diet is shit and that is why when you fast you get more energy, Try keto since fasting makes you enter ketosis. This might solve your problem but it is just a band aid, ketosis probably just eliminates or hides the thing that is fucking you up.

If you get on keto and start feeling better, great, but I would still go to a doctor. Make sure to try keto first so you have more valuable info when you visit the doctor.

    you're unironically sleeping too much
it takes a complete moron to believe "the more you sleep the more rested you will get"
try sleeping 6 hours a day for a week and you will understand

If you're sick, e.g. covid, you'll be tired as the body fights off infection. Stay hydrated and rest is fine. If this is longer than a month then try eating better and exercising. I always feel energized after eating eggs. Maybe you're missing something in your diet.

You're just not active enough. The more you become used to being physically active the more you will feel "energy" and a drive to be active. So fix your sleep, stick to 6-8 hours, go to bed early, get up early, add some cardio or physical activity.

Excuses. I work a physical job outside from 7am-5pm. Get home, shower coz filthy and help my wife with the family shit. Cook sometimes, yardwork, etc. Fix cars on the side. Put the kids to bed by 8pm (hopefully). Workout at home from bedtime until I'm done (depends on how many times the kids get up asking for shit and blow my sets in the middle), sometimes after 10pm. Eat big snack, shower again. Try and plow my wife, play power washer simulator, shitpost IST and pass out by 12 (1am).
I weighed 240 a few years ago with a processed meat and sugar diet while being chronically dehydrated, and lost it prior to deciding to totally unfuck myself due to an eating disorder without exercise if you wanna talk about "no energy". I'm 39 years old 6' @150lbs on clean bulk.
I honestly don't know how I'm not bald or how I'm still alive but whatever i don't care if i make it at least I'm trying.

Go to the doctor and get checked for sickle cell and diabetes.
Try consuming more carbs that aren't slow burning.

You probably have some nutrient deficiency or anemia.
As for when fasting gives you more energy, that's the boost of glucagon mobilizing the sugar storage you have.
