Switch to beer only, then only buy beer that you don't like. I've had a 5 pack of some gross watermelon guava something beer in my fridge for 5 months now, I won't buy more beer cause I've got some at home, and I don't want to drink what I have when I get home
Nicotine for me is far harder to quit, harder than weed too. Bought my last can of dip last week, I finally realized that I am actually addicted and it made me disgusted with myself. So I bought a couple cans of dip and had less and less each day, I'll have one dip later today and then two each day after until I run out, then I'll be done

It’s a one day at a time thing, just wake up and make not drinking for that day a priority. Don’t think about tomorrow, don’t think about next week, just focus on being sober for that day.
You can expect some withdrawal symptoms if you drink frequently: anxiety, insomnia, restlessness, mood swings etc but it’ll go away in 3-4 days mostly and you will start feeling better.
It’s way better on the other side, trust me. Your life and physique will improve drastically.
i used to drink badly, and used weed to deal with being hungover literally everyday. i quit the weed and became so non-functional from being on chain hangovers from multiple days of drinking that i had to cut down drastically.
if you don't smoke weed, try just not drinking at the beginning of the week - my friend dealt with his my starting out not drinking every monday, and then every monday+tues, ectect.

developed epilepsy at 24, 25. now every time i drink i have to balance everything from dropping things, fallinf over, or (rarely) a full blown seizure
Don't buy alcohol and if you do and managed to get a moment of clarity, pour it down the drain.
