Me and all my gymbros are Somali, been working out for a few months and can all comfortably hit 185 for 1 to 4 reps. The problem lies with your diet and routine, eat 200g protein and 4000cal daily and program your workouts for 8-12 sets of 6-12 reps for each muscle group twice a week,

I also trained SL and did 175 5x5 as a weakling.
But the thing is I hate running while I enjoy lifting . Why tf im I good at the thing I detest .

The real answer is that it depends on your physiology. Typically, long limb lengths, thin bones and joint, and thin frame lend themselves to endurance and long-distance speed. Think joint and bones, short limb lengths, and broader hips and shoulders lend themselves to pure strength.
There are exceptions but this is the general rule. Additionally, I dont think that the above traits are really correlated either way with fast twitch fibers or slow twitch fibers, but i could be wrong

East Africans are some of the best runners and some of the worst strength athletes. You should do what you were born to do. Also lose some more weight. A sub 5 mile is nothing to brag about from a competitive standpoint (at my high school you weren't special until you hit around 4:30) but it's pretty good you hit it after only 3 months. You could probably take up 10k races and perform well if you train right. The only problem with running is that the workouts are monotonous, which is why i switched to lifting after graduating. It also took me 3 and a half years to go below 5 in the mile, it's not genetically my thing.
Keep running and be good at something.
