I can OHP but if I OHP 205 for reps the rest of my workout is actually trashed, zero chance I get any more quality volume in that session, let alone bench more than b***h weight (250). The lift is just too fatiguing for my entire body. Do I need to use a machine or something

You can keep using dumbbells, but just get a stronger grip and back. Getting a very strong grip is probably the easiest way to make weights feel lighter and get them to move easier. Also back. Farmer walks are great for this type of strength, just make sure to do them heavy. Also just large volumes of back training, preferentially without straps.

Are you doing partial overhead presses in the rack from different positions (forehead, just over top of head, and short lockout)?
If not, that's where you're fricking up. Start doing partials to overload in the rack, you'll see things change for the better in due time.
That, and push presses to overload are important as well. The combination of the 2 took me to a 250 standing strict press and 300 push press behind the neck.
