"narrow shoulders" is often used as an excuse for lacking upper body mass.

only if you do them right, make sure you are angled so that the chest gets most of the work and the stretch

is right, up your volume for a bit even if you have to slightly back off the weight. personally think going from 3 to 8 sets is too high a jump, go to 5 or 6 first for a couple weeks and add the dips (those i would do 3-5 sets to failure) see how it does.
should i also increase the volume even at the cost of lowering the weight for stuff like ohp?

I've done acid so many times I've lost count. I've done shrooms once and the shrooms I had weren't super visual in effect.
Basically IME with LSD, especially when you're inexperienced, your mind kind of goes into this 'slippery' state where if you see the wrong thing, or if someone says something that particularly scares/angers/embarrasses you, those emotions will be amplified ten fold. Its sort of like you're a kid again and small things have the possibility to set you off or throw you into a thought loop.
It's a really good time if you're with the right people though. But you need to be especially selective with the people you do it with.
You could do it alone, but then the risk with that is that there's nobody to keep you in check sorta. But the most I've had with it is being alone in my bedroom at night so YMMV.
