How's my strength/athleticism routine? I don't have a barbell, just a pair of 70 lbs. dumbbells, a pullup bar, and a 200 lbs. sandbag. I also train Judo every other week, this routine is for my non-Judo week.
It's garbage >4 sets of jump squats to failure
Are you fricking stupid lmao? You're going to snap your knees
I refuse to believe someone who would program jump squats to failure is serious
Yes
It's not that heavy >Improve explosiveness >Going to failure
Not how it works bro, your body is only going to be able to do something at max speed for 3 repetitions. An AMRAP can not build explosiveness
Just clean the dumbbells or something. Or better yet go to a gym
>improve explosiveness
Training for speed and explosiveness isn't done to failure.
Lol yes it is. morons who don't know how to program need to frick off.

Look at how sprinters and Oly lifters train and seethe.

Yes, they train until they can't maintain quality form. It's called mechanical failure. Otherwise they train till they don't want to do anymore reps which is called volitional failure. moron

I'm not a Olympic lifter or 300 lbs. powerlifter, I'm a Judoka.
>moron just pick up the fricking sandbag and squat with it in your arms >Have you actually picked up a 200 lbs. sandbag?
Imagine being this weak and thinking you understand how to get strong
You're not even listening to what he's training for. He doesn't want to do a heavy squat, he wants an explosive jump. A zercher squat with a sandbag does nothing for that. moron.
He (You) should do zercher squats with a sandbag because he (You) doesn't have access to a barbell
You did read the whole routine right? You didn't just start tearing up at the jump squat part, right?
None of these exercises build strength. Cardio, AMRAPs and 2 sets of 20. That's it. If you didn't care about strength it would be one thing but you do so fricking do some heavy sets you mongoloid

Again, you're not listening to what he's training for. You are a moron who doesn't know how to program.

Okay, do you want me to post a text-to-speech vocaroo of the routine since you couldn't read correctly? I don't need to lift 400 lbs. of barbell and weights, I'm trying to train as an athletic Judoka. Stronglifting is good for that, what's better is oly style weightlifting, but I don't have that option. So I'm using a 200 lbs. sandbag outside in my muddy frickin' yard. Nobody said zercher squats were a bad idea, that's probably an involuntary part of the routine. The jump squats help build fibers for shooting your hips and squaring your butt with the uke (opponent) and standing up. Slowly trying to lift 400 lbs. isn't the route i'm going, jump squats help. Look at one of the greatest Judoka's in history (Masahiko Kimura) and his routine

Yeah I looked at his routine
You know what he did?
He squatted with a 200 pound sandbag LOL
so yeah he did exactly what I'm telling you to do but you won't do it because "hur dur I'm not a powerlifter bro"
I'm not telling you not to do cardio and AMRAPs
I'm telling you that only doing cardio and AMRAPs won't make you strong

My goal isn't to just become hulkingly strong. I know bodyweight exercise isn't going to beefcake me up and make me godlike.
>I'm telling you that only doing cardio and AMRAPs won't make you strong
You've been basically arguing in a circle because I don't disagree that jump squats aren't going to make me strong alone. They help with reflexes and explosive movements, they also help for Randori sessions and endurance so my legs don't start to buckle after the first 20 minutes. Also, I'm not doing AMRAP.
Go to bed, you have CVS and need to to lay down for the next five hours.
Yeah the goal is to get strong
So pick up something heavy and do reps with it
Or I guess you're going to fricking jump and down with your body weight for 100 reps in a row to get stronger instead?
Do you really think this works? Do you really think you can get stronger by jumping till you can't jump anymore?
It's garbage
>4 sets of jump squats to failure

How fricking fat are you?
are you doing it with fricking bodyweight?
moron just pick up the fricking sandbag and squat with it in your arms
Have you actually picked up a 200 lbs. sandbag? The goal isn't to improve my squat, the jump squat is to improve explosiveness.
Yes

It works endurance.
You just said it's for explosiveness
It works both.
No it doesn't
You're clueless and a beginner
Drop the ego and do some research
You seem like one of those guys who walk with the flow of traffic. I've probably forgotten more than you'll ever learn.
Enjoy doing your jump squats to failure you DYEL moron
Yeah, is that all?
>asks for critiques
>seethes at critiques
You go
What's your routine?
Calgary Barbell 16-week
>reddit powerlifting routine
But not explosiveness
there’s so much wrong with this i don’t know where to begin. just look up some shit online you fricking moron
>moron just pick up the fricking sandbag and squat with it in your arms
>Have you actually picked up a 200 lbs. sandbag?
Imagine being this weak and thinking you understand how to get strong
The goal is not to train squats.
Nooooo you must do zercher squats with maximal load that's the only way you can train explosiveness :^*~~)
You're not smart.
You're not even listening to what he's training for. He doesn't want to do a heavy squat, he wants an explosive jump. A zercher squat with a sandbag does nothing for that. moron.
