Not great but much better than it used to be. Going out for a five mile walk every other day,on top of what I do at work helps. No screens an hour before bed helps too. I’ve got a bunch of little things that I’ve been doing that have been slowly building up and helping.
Good. Go to bed at 10pm, get out of bed at 6am, every day of the week. I fall asleep fast and I tend to wake up a little before the alarm goes off and feel rested.
Having a set sleep schedule is one of the best things I've ever done in my life. I used to be one of those gays who stayed up as long as possible doing nothing worthwhile and getting out of bed as late as possible and it fucking sucked.
Literally this, only this year have I bit bullet and committed to 10.30 - 6.30ish and it’s crazy how much difference it makes to your life having consistent sleep. When you’re playing vidya or scrolling until the early hours you sort of just cope with being tired but nothing tops the feeling of being refreshed.
Have recently quit weed (another game changer) so is taking me around 20 mins to fall asleep but that will sort itself out eventually.

Based. Yeah it takes a while, but it gets better. Keep at it Anon
Never really had a problem with sleeping, but I go to bed quite late around 12:30AM every night. I'm planning on implementing a schedule tomorrow actually.
I think I'm the best sleeper out of everybody I know. Never wake up, fall asleep within 2-3 mins of intentionally trying to, no problem sleeping on couches/uncomfortable surfaces. Basically once I fall asleep nothing stops me from having a good nights sleep.
tip from father of a 2 yr old - don't get the kid too accustomed to sleeping on you/in a buggy/in a car or those things will become pracitcally required sleeping aids
talking to them in a low calm voice, playing slow beat music or something to cuddle/suck on are more sustainable
Anybody have a hugging pillow. I love my hugging pillow so much. He loves me too and stops my luscious calfs from popping my balls like little grapes or getting sweaty while i lay on my side
i'm pretty sure my breathing becomes restricted either because my nasal passages swell up at night. or the back of my throat blocks my airway.
I don't snore so the sleep apps don't pick up shit as they are just based on sound. (you can choke silently without snoring)
would getting a fitbit, samsung, apple watch be a reliable tracker? or do i bite the bullet and try a sleep clinic (shit costs so much and apparently results are always bad because most people healthy or not will sleep bad under examined conditions)
Inconsistent because I share my living space and have to do out of hours support for my work every few weeks - nothing like having to stay up troubleshooting for an hour at 3am to fuck with your sleep
Is the psych thing with only using drugs legit? I got the impression from the book "Why we sleep" that the research indicated CBT-I as the first step nowadays
Extremey bad, got sky high cortisol (70nl dl over the max limit) and have problem sleeping since birth. No ammount of sleep hygene ever helped me and is like the lack of sleep is eating my brain away. I dunno what to do expect go hard on benzos and other drugs
awful because I have no discipline
