I am 6 feet tall and 145 lbs, how do I gain weight? I don't have much of an appetite so it's always been hard for me to bulk up and put on muscle.

    it won't be easy. Gaining weight is as hard as losing weight.
    Try to increase calories slowly. I made the fricking mistake of forcing myself to eat and that was not a good idea.
    In the beginning just eat anything. Don't matter if its healthy or not. You just want to get used to eating more.
    lift at least 3 days a week. very minimal cardio. Just eat big and lift big.
    Bench, Squat, deadlift, pull ups, stick too the basics.

    literally was you like a year ago. i put on 40lb by going to the gym consistently, i work in the trades, and i pack good lunches and eat good dinners daily. Here’s the god send meal tip for you if you’re lazy asf like me and don’t like cooking.

    Sheppards pie, i make a huge frickin amount of it on sunday and freeze it and eat it daily for the whole week for lunch plus almonds, yogurt, fruit, cheese, everything. then a protein shake with a scoop of creatine too when i’m done at the gym.

    creatine helps. adding a bunch of peanut butter to your protein shakes if you blend it helps too cuz it has a shit ton of calories packed in it.

    blend a liquid (water or milk), protein powder, oats and peanut butter. _lots_ of calories and very easy to consume.

    I can eat 3500 calories of chicfila or any burger place in one meal. I dont understand how you guys struggle to bulk. I could eat 7k calories a day if i had to.

    By gain weight do you mean muscle or fat?
    If you want to gain muscle then eat lots of meat and lift.
    If you want to gain fat then eat sugar and seed oils. Start with donuts as they are sugar fried in oil coated in sugar.

    6'6 ectomorph here. gained 3 kgs the past month eating like this:
    breakfast - 2-3 sausages and 2-3 eggs. fills you with lots of energy and you'll feel
    lunch - chicken schnitzel or salmon on avocado toast. cook the schnitzel in coconut oil or butter, it'll be the best schnitzel you've ever tried
    dinner: steak or chicken with brown rice and veg
    snacks: big fat protein shake. 1 scoop protein to 2-3 scoops oats. don't go for flavoured protein, add a banana or frozen berries. tastes great with a heaped teaspoon of baking cocoa powder &/or honey. use proper milk.

    also go to the gym, it'll double your hunger.

    don't be afraid of spending too much on food, eating too much meat, or overeating in general. currently you're not spending enough on food and you're not eating enough.
