I am already a norwood 3, and have started using 5% minoxidil, microneedling and ketocenazole shampoo. should i even bother trying finasteride if these cant grow my hair back? from what i've been reading fin mostly helps maintaining hair and will only regrow small amounts of hair, so why would i use fin if im stuck at norwood 3? is minoxidil even going to do anything for the temples?

either do topical or microdose 0.1mg ed
you then need to count how much hair you are still losing and if you have side effect
            use at least 6months
if no side effect and good result obviously let it be
if no good result up the dose until you get sides or good result
            If sideeffects try topical

            Anonymous

Crush up two 1mg finasteride pills in your minoxidil bottle. The dropper is 1ml. That will give you a nice low topical dosage that will only block dht where you put it. Its also cheaper doing it that way.

From my research its too high of a dosage. Its better and cheaper to make your own with fin pills. You can just smash them in a bag and put them in your minoxidil bottle. If you dont trust me use a dosage calculator to figure out the % in a single milliliters when you put 2 mg into a 60ml bottle.

    1. Get a FUE transplant to restore hairline, if you started at Norwood 1, maybe even 2, you could have been salvaged but you waited too long. Afterwards proceed with the following

    2. Minoxidil, it works on every part of your skin that has hair follicles, the bullshit about it not working on temples etc is FDA nonsense, pay it no mind

    3. 1-1.25mg finasteride per day for the rest of your life, despite the immense online fear mongering, the benefits are immense and extend far beyond hair loss, most cases of sides are due to nocebo. If you get the impression that it doesn't work after 6-8 months you can try dutasteride but fin should be alright. Don't use more than 1.25mg.

    4. Microneedling etc is a nice bonus to the stack but not necessary, if you feel like doing that shit it will give you some extra progress down the line

Ignore every other comments by pathetic dyels who failed to restore their hairline and do what needs to be done. Godspeed, anon.

Stop using terminology you aren't familiar with, you will inevitably sound moronic.. Fin blocks 5-alpha reductase - do you know what an isozyme is? It would something that catalyzes that same reaction; this would be anything converting testosterone into DHT, which I'm saying is something you do NOT want systemically because nuking your DHT is not a desirable effect.

If you stop using minox you're effectively cutting off the growth phase and slingshot your hair into telogen effluvium, the shedding might be temporary depending on how long you've been using it but if the hairs were still miniaturized then you washed all the money and time down the drain

        Wrong.

Minox doesn't save your dying hair. It only grows new vellus hairs which mostly happens only in the crown region. It won't do shit to stop your hair loss. Anyone telling you that finasteride will kill your dick or sex drive is lying to you. I had "symptoms" but after the first month, they all dissipated, and I'm more virile than BEFORE treatment.

Minoxidil is a growth stimulant. Period. The only hair you're "maintaining" is the hair that grew because of the minoxidil. It doesn't stop your hair loss.

this is not only wrong but also neglects to mention the mechanism by which fin inhibits the production of dht, which has been mentioned I believe several times itt.

This stack will stop or even regrow your hair. Any sides are a meme as long as you live a healthy lifestyle and aren't a fat frick.
    >Dutasteride 0.5mg daily
    >Minoxidil 5% once a day with tretinoin (don't need to use it twice)
    >Pyrilutamide once a day
The dut will stop almost all conversion to DHT. Minoxidil will stimulate growth. Pyrilutamide has a much higher binding affinity than dht so it will block all androgen receptors on the scalp. Great thing about pyrilutamide is it breaks down into inert metabolites when it enters the bloodstream so no sides. There, I just cured you all of balding.

Menstruation blood can help regrow hair and beard

I like to dogstyle my wife during her period and paint my face with the blood and ran around the bed doing a indian war chant

minox takes up a lot of time, dries out your skin, ages your skin, and doesn't even work as well as fin

using all that shit before fin is just weird
