Also I quit smoking and drinking to afford this lifestyle.
Def better to goto the gym
t. 35 year old NEET done the home gym thing for about 6 years and going to a real gym thing for about 5 years
I hate other people so looking at home gym too. Any bike recommendations?
8 years NEET here. Get everything you need set up at home you will never regret it. I'd also recommend you add a pull up bar and dip bars. Welcome to the high life fren.
How the frick do you afford this shit if you're gonna be unemployed for the forseeable future? Bench, dumbells (adjustable or not) and a bike is gonna surely be around 1000 used, as a lowball.
I wanna be a neet :/
NEETbuxx. Not much but at least I am not slaving away like wagies and have all day to do whatever I want.
How can you even afford a place on neetbux? Where I'm at, it would cover a shared room in a really shitty 6-8 bedroom place, and you'd have nothing left over for food or anything.
I don't get a lot, can just afford enough food and to pay the bills but it works. Thinking on coming out of retirement next year just to stack some money for a while because the current prices of things are making things a lot more difficult.
Nothing ruins my day quite like being in the gym after midnight and someone else has the gall to be there at the same time
that'd be me
home gym ofc
otherwise you'll be a slave of the gym's opening hours, traffic, other people, shit like that
get a good pullup bar and a bar of rings, you'll thank me later
Go to the gym so you get out more.
I have a gym in like a 20-30 minute bike ride radius and go there daily, and I socialize there a bit so I stay like +2 hours.
My government gives me like 1020€ and I can even run Test + Mast on that money.
I am bigger than all of the guys in the gym, its a normie gym.
Home gym if you want to save money, public gym if you want to have a reason to get out of the house and socialize (much more important for staying mentally healthy than people give it credit for)
imagine if you had to drive to the nearest gas station everyone time wanted to take a shit.
home gyms are obviously superior. Obviously not everyone can have one with their living situation but there is no reason to not have one if you are able to
I have a home gym right now but I'm honestly considering not bothering with one when I move in around a year, the socializing aspect is way more essential than I used to give it credit for, plus I do bodybuilding training with lots of isolations so it's nice to have a bunch of different machines
>i go to the gym to socialize
jesus what a fricking moron
Average ISTizen reading comprehension
More people than you think do
Yeah I'm in the same boat. I'm extroverted enough to want to be around some people
Don't do it. speaking from experience.
I'm also getting ready for a NEET fit life, but I'm currently homeless. I'm already paying for a gym membership for showers so might as well make some gains in the process. Your greatest advantage if having access to a stove. I can only really bulk off of canned bean / beef / tuna / spam, peanutbutter sandwiches and a couple of fruits.
Do parks/reservoirs have bbqs where you're at? If they do then you can cook up a heap of meat and throw it in an esky to preserve it. Or you could get a portable stove.
>Or you could get a portable stove.
Considered it, but I'd rather keep my possessions as low as possible. Carrying all that weight is a dead giveaway that you're homeless, which makes being homeless, well, a lot less enjoyable. You see the worst in humanity when they see you destitute.
Yeah, I thought maybe you might have a car. I think as soon as you have a car, it becomes significantly more manageable.
