          Best glute exercise. If you care about actually training all of your muscles then you're essentially obligated to do them.

          They're not a pain to set up if you use at least one full plate. The height of the bar should be high enough to just roll it into position

          What are the glute doms like? Does it make walking or sitting difficult?

          glute doms aren't bad at all. You don't have a lot of sensory nerves there. You barely feel it, especially after several sessions of training

            Yes, and honestly i used to skip hip thrusts for that reason. If you have a machine, use it. Also, if you're interested in total glute development, do deep single leg squats and goodmornings.

        I've been doing them for over 10 years and I do over 600 lbs for 12 strict reps. I could easily add another 50 lbs but at this point I can get just as much benefit from doing them a little more strictly. For the first 5 years I was literally the only one in my gym doing them, male or female. Of course every day is now max prostitute Day.

        Wrong best exercise for glutes is heavy seated hip abductions with strict form. Thots have memed around too much and given it a bad name which made everyone ignorant of what it actually hits when done right.

        probably because I'm still insecure. when I was a fat kid everyone around me made fun of me and said I'm deformed and I have a big ass, which was true. so now I think I associate a developed booty with being fat and deformed and people making fun of me. but I still want to do hip thrusts mainly because I think it'll help me frick better, thrust better

          Huh i had that too but also man boobs. I still some self image issues but after working out and watching my diet for a while not only do I look a bit better but I also feel a lot better. If youre not training for max vertical then you do endurance rep range

    i've been doing it for the past few months and the benefits are crazy, my ass is growing pretty well and it's very satisfying

    Maybe guys will laugh but women love seeing me do hip thrusts because I am extremely handsome. They giggle and ask if I'm trying to get a big booty, and I smile and laugh with them and just say yeah I'm trying to get a nice ass. Who cares if some moron in the gym thinks it looks gay, women like men who don't take themselves so seriously as to care what other men think of them (succumbing to social pressure is a feminine trait) so it's better to just do what you want. For the record no man has ever said shit to my face about anything I do in the gym, including hip thrusts. I've seen guys looking at me funny, possibly even talking about me but I don't care about that at all. None of this is true by the way I made it all up, except for the handsome part. I don't do hip thrusts but if I did, I know for a fact that this is what my life would be like
