I am incredibly skinny and weak, I can barely lift more than 40 lbs plus the bar while benchpressing. Am I gmi? And are other people at the gym judging me for being weak?

Yeah, skinny and weak is better than fat and weak.
as a fat and weak person, i can confirm
Shut up gay, we all start somewhere, consistency is key, find a routine stick to it and eat big. Simple as.
I started out fat and weak, and I'd switch places any day of the weak. Also, the majority of people in gym understand that you have to start somewhere, only retards are going to judge you. You're in the gym to better yourself, that's why everybody goes, so they can relate.
Post delicious twink body now
I'm not a twink I'm a skelly
You are not alone lil’ bro. I started going to the gym in januari. I can’t even bench the bar. I struggle with 20kg on the chest press machine. We will just have to keep going
>I can’t even bench the bar.
i dont believe this. even when i was a weakling i could bench like 100 lbs. and this was at 20, i was the weakest in the school probably. are you 11 or something?
stfu moron. some lards walk in and wonder how anybody can start unable to press 200lbs
maybe wipe the cum out of your eyes you dumb gay, i never said anything about 200 lbs. if you're not able to bench JUST THE BAR, you either have muscular dystrophy or you're 9 years old.
No dude. You're there and you're doing your best. There's no shame in doing your best.
doesn't matter if you get judged inside the gym or not, since you will be judged outside of it for being DYEL anyway.
The people I judge most are ones who are always trying to lift too much and faking every movement.DYELs do it but bigger guys also do it and it's even worse when they do, because it's more understandable the small guy feels he has to prove something whereas the bigger guy shouldn't have that feeling. People who are doing honest reps and still working hard I respect.
>And are other people at the gym judging me for being weak?
No. Benching with 10kg or 5kg plates registers so low as a complete beginner that it's the opposite. People thing it's cute, and probably want to help you. Do some research on the basics yourself though so you can tell what advice is shit and not.
It's not until you are in late novice/early intermediate stage that the ego shit starts, because this is where most people get perpetually stuck due to lack of consistency, routine and diet/sleep.

How do I avoid falling into that trap?
>haha no its the opposite, if you're so weak then people actually think its cute and want to help you to humiliate you even more. just go to the gym and do it in front of everyone bro!
No people aren't judging you. I don't judge anyone in the gym. If they are in the gym (and they're actually working and not just taking selfies and TikTok vids), they are doing way better than about 90% of the population
I judge people in the gym but I'm mentally ill and hate that I do it, it comes from a place of no self confidence, I want to be better than everyone. I really want to kill myself.
>are other people judging me
Who gives a fuck? You’re not there for them and they’re not there for you.
>am i weak
Weakness is relative, there are literal vegetables out there rotting in bed. Just work harder and keep grinding
>more research
>better diet
>supplements to *supplement* diet
Focus on yourself anon
28 year old male, 6ft, 70kg
never would bend me knees to pick things up because it felt uncomfortable/tight for me to squat down, then as a teenager I got nerd neck from being on my phone
So now as an adult doing BODY WEIGHT squats tires me out
I currently do 4 sets of 12 squats after jogging 3km and it wrecks me
