You're right, i did an mma fight an lost because my cardio was dog shit, the only reason i did the 3 rounds was because i was motivated and had better skills but the other guy had cardio unlike me

I started in judo and one of the clubs I go to also does BJJ. Personally I don't think either art is complete without the other
Judo often teaches chokes and pins anyway Judo is better Khabib is right. Jiu Jitsu is more the defensive aspect of Judo though which works wonders for MMA but not the streets where you can be smashed on concrete or on the walls over and over if the opponent out strenghts you.

Running, jumping rope, boxing against the bag or sparring is the best way to get cardio in general just get tired, catch air, recover, get tired, repeat, etc.

How does swimming compare to running? I think running is just kinda boring and with summer coming around swimming would be more refreshing and the swimming halls have saunas.
