Ice cream is best for strength, and milkshakes for big arms.

If you're eating it when sad you're using it as an emotional crutch

I struggle to get enough calories and for a while I was eating ice cream to hit my goals. I stopped as although I started to live ice cream, it didn’t seem like a good idea.

I used to eat Haagen Dasz every night to hit my calorie goals but I wouldn't recommend it. There are better and cheaper ways to hit your calorie goals and eating sugar/fat doesn't help much with muscle building

Frick I'm literally doing this myself, am I gonna become pre diabetic? what are some better alternatives to get moar calories?

        >what are some better alternatives to get moar calories?
        A bulk shake.
        >[greek] yogurt
        >milk
        >peanut butter
        >banana

I also add a half cup of oats and have them sit and soften in the milk.
If you use protein powder, these are also some ideas: https://www.garagegymreviews.com/protein-shakes-for-bulking

buy a ninja creami and make protein ice cream at home

Exactly. Get yourself a Ninja Creami and use full fat gaye yogurt+ whatever toppings you want+ sweetner and vanilla extract or cocoa powder.
It turns out very close to actual icecream but it has a ton of protein and way less cals.

Now if you don't wanna spend on the Ninja just mix all that shit in a big bowl and toss into your freezer, mixing with a big spoon every 30-40 mins until it's a nice ice creamy consistancy.

    homemade fullfat frozen yogurt

I haven't been able to get the ideal texture yet because I don't have an icecream maker but what I end up doing is freezing the whole batch into multiple small tupperware and toss one of the yogurt cubes into the blender until it's somewhat creamy. Tastes good, nothing out of this world, it's just yogurt with fruit lol
For me it's banana and/or peach.
It's much better if you freeze it with the fruit pre-blended but honestly my last batches were fruitless

The best texture I've managed to get is with full fat milk + fully strained (no whey in yogurt / """Greek""" style yogurt) and the secret ingredient is vanilla extract but anything with alcohol should work, maybe gin could go well with the yogurt flavor but it kind of defeats the purpose if you're just making frozen drunk desserts. Basically since alcohol doesn't freeze it makes the yogurt not freeze as much. Also apparently you're supposed to put something on top to prevent ice crystals from forming. I haven't really experimented it myself but it doesn't seem that preventing a bit of surface level crystals will impact the overall texture but I could be wrong

One day I'll make a yogurt dedicated thread

    >Chop banana into slices
    >Freeze the banana slices
    >Once frozen toss in blender with cocoa powder
    >(Optional) Add PB
There, you have ideal homemade "icecream" (same texture and taste) for a fraction of the price and no added slop.

Halo Top is pretty good if you don't want a Ninja Creamie. You can also use frozen bananas as a base for a smoothie bowl, which is similar in texture to ice cream. Just use the frozen ripe bananas, protein powder, greek yogurt and any other things you want in there.
