I can't lose weight

>walk about 3 miles a day
>lift 20 minutes a day
>still fat 270 lb 6'2
what do I do differently? would taking up a sport help? I'm eating a lot of vegetables. I'm not willing to starve myself because it isn't sustainable. I just want to replace foods that I eat.

pic related my expected facial aesthetics after I cut.

The FRICK? I spend that long or more doing Bench Press alone. WTF do (You) do?

      Anonymous

I do stuff like 2x8 db rows, 2x8 db bench, or pullovers and seated ohp. I do 10 minutes at a time then take a break because I get out of breath. I do it every day though so I figure that makes up for it.

I eat fast food for lunch, like a double cheeseburger and a big mac and fries, sometimes some cokes. and then I eat a large dinner of chicken broccoli and rice almost every day. It feels like I eat just as much as the next guy, maybe I can add a salad instead of the fast food.

If CICO is real (it isn't) any type of movement should lead to weight loss if caloric intake stays the same.

But we all know it doesn't work that way.

And how do you know if caloric input is staying exactly the same if you aren't measuring calories?

Most people just eat to satiation, which is dependent on hunger which will fluctuate based on levels of physical activity.

Yes and satiation differs depending on levels of physical activity, so they won't eat the exact same amount of food every single day unless they are using something like caloric count to keep track.

But were you stable at 270 for a while? How long have you been going on walks and "lifting"? If your tdee is 2500, and you have been eating 3400 a day, upping your tdee with exercise to 2900 will still put you in surplus. Exercise can only do so much. If you want to lose weight you need to drop calories.

I was of the opinion that OP more or less keeps at the same weight, you know, like everyone else. If CICO was true, then any kind of exercise should reduce the weight.

track your calories, and sports, high intensity exercise &or walking will help if you don't just eat more to compensate. if you don't want to track cals then change your diet around until you find something that works, avoid calorie dense stuff & foods that are easy to overreat, greek yogurt is high satiation, eggs, beef, protein & vegetables is generally good for satiation, pineapple, blueberries, strawberries, potatoes & whole onions are good for carb satiation, if you have to go low carb.

Typical American, thinks 3 miles walking is a lot lmao. Id also suggest doing an actual program instead of whatever gay routine you've made yourself with only 20 minute sessions

Genuine tip though - do cardio. It's legit like a cheat code for fat loss, it will fricking turbo charge your progress. And no, walking doesn't count as cardio. Get a bike or use the bikes at the gym, it's perfect for a fat man like yourself because there's no impact like with running so it won't frick up your ankles and knees

As for diet, start with small changes bro. Like instead of having the pizza and fries, swap out the fries for broccoli or rice. Cut out fruit juice and coke and just drink water or diet soda (in general drinking calories is a bad idea). Grilled chicken instead of fried chicken. Restrict snacking, you only get 1 snack a day - honestly snacking is what fricks over most fat people, they have as many calories in snacks as they do in their actual meals

Small steps bro, if you try and be too drastic you'll likely get sick of it.

      https://i.imgur.com/ptnLYQE.jpeg

The real answer is to find an output that you actually enjoy. For fat fricks like you with zero self discipline, its the only way to stay on the path long term. Or at least long term enough for you to see results, get bored, ultimately quit, and fall back into the same pattern of gluttony and laziness. This is what i recommendt to normies and women that i work with.

If you played any sports in high school start with trying to get back into that. Rec league or something. Try out whatever sounds enjoyable to you. Biking, running, swimming, basketball, soccer. Obviously you SHOULD lift but like i said, if you hate it you wont stick to it long term. Consistency matters infinitely more than what youre specifically doing. Just try different shit out. Dont be a moron. Figure this shit out man.

    >>I’m not losing weight
You’re not eating under your caloric maintenance. If you were, you’d be losing weight without even exercising
    >not willing to starve myself
Well good news for you. It’s physically impossible to starve yourself because you’re fat, and you’re fat and have energy reserves stored all throughout your body. Stop eating over your caloric maintenance and those reserves will disappear and you won’t be fat anymore. Simple as. Literally just stop stuffing your fat fricking face.

        >Can’t just stop drinking and eating the slop.
It is hard and I go through phases of what I'm craving but usually it's related to if I'm consistent with my training or not. Despite how hard it is people have to look in the mirror and take accountability for what they are eating. It infuriates me to hear people talk about how expensive eating healthy is when they get multiple take aways per week and McDonalds cost's extortionate prices right now.

That's really not that much. I can do 2 miles in 20 minutes at a brisk jog and a few breaks on a treadmill. I don't even focus on running much at all. You should check out the running general and get started on a running regimen.

Check the calories of shit you eat and account for everything.

Most fat b***hes say the same shit, claim they're at deficit but don't account for the 1200 calories of coffee and sugar they pound every day. Another fatass sat down on a tv show for a 600 calorie breakfast of whole grain cereal, then added 1500 calories of sugar and heavy whipping cream.

Dont be a tard, count everything.
