It is pretty common in the southern U.S. but not unheard of elsewhere. I live north of the Ohio and pretty regularly see people do this.

It's just cola mixed with salted peanuts. It may sound interesting at first; salty, fatty mixed with sweet. However the cola washes the salt off the peanuts so that they taste bland
btw you have to use real southern goobers for the best results
I don't do it much cause I don't drink soda but I always have one at baseball games. Be careful tho you gotta pre-drink some so you can fit the peanuts in.

After years, about 5-6 I have drank Coke Zero a few days ago. At first it was somewhat nice, but after the third glass it got boring and I felt disgust.

Our bodies are all different ,I dont like Coke Zero and its the first zero soda I drank ,and I did for years but maybe a can every other day,but when I tried Pepsi Max... frick worst decision ever,I got addicted to it instantly,tasted a million times better than drinks with real sugar to me.

I replaced coke with fruit juice 2 months ago. I drink too much but it's better than soda and I no longer miss coke.

During high school years I enjoyed long walks alone and consooming something became my motivation to get further aroung my city, find new shops, &c.
One summer there was a promotion where you got 4 liters Coke for aroung 2.50 euros.
Instantly hooked, drinking 4l coke (even from warm bottles, I didn't care) every afternoon for years.
When I couldn't get so much I fricking hated life.
Just stopped drinking it when I got a GF because my stomach would get fricked and it would make my mouth kinda disgusting.
That GF fricked me up more than all that Coke ever might
BUT
It's extremely easy to quit. And I've tried many many drugs, only being close to an addict to alcohol.
You literally just quit it, your body won't crave it since you're getting more than enough added sugars anyway. Mentally just get away from places where you are triggered to consoome it.
Now I only drink it with my grandma cause she really likes going to bars (I'm Spanish, bar culture is different here) and I don't wanna drink too many beers in front of her or pay water more expensive than oil KEK.
It does taste real good, yet there are so many things that taste incredibly better without fricking you up so much.
Also, am I the only one that thinks the first bit tastes infinitely better in comparison? (Like I know there's a dopamine factor that makes it similar with cigarette drags or chips or whatever but when I like my first drag better it's because it's the one that hits the most withdrawal, every drag after is just as nice; not the same with Coke, it becomes literally blend and boring)
