Do people actually find these ridiculous made up scenarios motivating? There is no guy in a cave training to fight me, or you or anyone else. It's just such a laughable premise
The best man you could've been is a social outcast autist who trains his whole life to fight made up enemies instead of cultivating relationships, a career, having kids?
If we're judging my actual self by any and all potential selves, then any person who has ever lived, is living and will live will never live up to the all the things they could have been.
Instead, I compare what I currently *can* do against what a tasks needs of me. If I am more, I do. If I am less, but I could be more by trying, I try. If I never will be more, I do not.
You are both a retard and a newfag.
You are a retard because you don't understand the metaphor of the man in the cave. The meaning isn't that an actual gym nut caveman that somehow knows you is gonna descend from the mountains and try to bash your skull with a fuckin deer antler. The man in the cave is a placeholder for any person who might decide that they want to do something bad to you. Sometime, somewhere, someone might decide that they hate your guts and want to kill you for no good reason in particular. Maybe it's gonna be some robber, maybe it's gonna be a drunk fuck in a bar, maybe it's gonna be a dipshit with road rage and a baseball bat. You have no way of knowing. But you will inevitably run in a situation where you will have to protect yourself by using brute force. And unless you are fit, trained and ready to fight, unless you are prepared to face a strong savage who wants nothing more than to see you dead, you will get maimed, or worse, killed. That is the meaning of the metaphor.
You are a newfag because anyone who has spent enough time on IST has seen enough gore vids to know that a scenario where a murderous cave dwelling savage decides to attack you is entirely plausible. Unlikely, but plausible.
Guns jam, misfire, or run out of ammo. Relying so much on a tool for your safety is unwise.
Also, this kind of people who bring up guns whenever any type of altercation is mentioned are usually also the kind of people who will neither fight nor shoot when the time comes, just saying.
It's ripped from some text/story that used to go around the US army. Basically the story went: there is some Taliban guy you might one day have to fight. He has no alcohol, no shoes, no comfy bed, etc so if you don't man up and quit being a pussy he's gonna kill you. I found it motivational when I was a 18-19 year old retard.
3, You could use some other ranges and some isolations are actually best around 15, like lat raises and calf raises. But you won''t leave much on the table this way. Would do my diddly's for 3 if I were you though.
heavy weight low rep (1-5) compound lifts and lighter weight high rep (10+) isolation accessories has generally been the meta for lifting for a very long time now
sometimes i go heavy on cheat curls because they're fun but other than that this is the standard structure
You are less retarded than the average user of this board who think they are gonna get further with exclusively high rep compound baby weight styled training. Start doing 4x10 compounds some days so that you are doing both ranges every week and play with the volume for different isolations some stuff is gonna respond better to stuff like 2x20(lat raises) or 3x20(calves).

Yeah
pretty spot on, yes
Yes.
My dad is twice the man I ever will be and I still ended up fucked. If I have a kid I would it would literally make me a sadist.
This anon gets it, the image poser is clearly talking about the upcoming race war.

Yes yes well said. However!
ah yes, i forgot that it's impossible to be strong and also own a gun

thats why you train using firearms like you train any other martial discipline.

can someone illustrate for me how is it living making powerfantasy scenarios in your head 24/7?
Why did you post a picture of me?

I guess I’ll answer the actual question and say you’re not retarded at all, it’s pretty wise to train through a variety of rep ranges
This is basically what I do but I do 3x15 on all my isolations except biceps. 2 heavy compounds per session, 3-4 light isolations after.
