I don't know I'm on day 3 of no food and thinking about eating something, I think I have enough food to last me for the next week if I keep skipping meals and enough in my account to buy a little more then hopefully go into work next week so I can get my next paycheck and make rent... but I lost like 10 pounds over the last week and my stomach
looks a lot nicer already

If you have eaten recently your body runs on glucose and glycogen. Around 24h after eating up to around 2-4 days your body runs on fat. After that you go into long term fast/starvation mode and your metabolism significantly decreases you shouldn't fast more than 3 days basically. It can also be bad bc your body will start to get nutrients by breaking down other tissues that you would probably rather keep
If the other tissue is muscle then I want it gone but thank you!! So like I can cycle it basically, not eat for 2 days, eat small meal on the 3rd , stop again for 2 days etc ? How long does it generally take to see the results ?
Other tissues can be anything, like muscle yeah but also bones, hair and nails, vital organs, it's bad, you don't wanna go too far. I lose weight very quickly that way like normally after just a week it's enough but idk everyone has a different metabolism i like barely ever can gain weight really but sometimes i just wanna be a little skinnier. I drink lots of water/herbal tea and take a multivitamin too. And yeah like make sure you eat something at least every 3rd day, but if you're gonna fast for the next 3 days too then don't eat something small make sure it's a good sized well balanced meal. You can also eat like stuff that only has fat or protein like eggs or something and it won't take you out of metabolising fat so that can be good
You don’t need to stop eating entirely, just eat healthy food at a moderate calorie deficit

starving yourself isn't a good way to lose weight, because by starving yourself, you are basically teaching your body to store as much fat as possible. what you need is to eat a normal amount and engage in enough activity (aka exercise) to tell your body "I've got enough food, I'm good, what I don't need right now is fat"

There is no way to *target* specific places for fat/muscle loss through different activities or diet styles. You will lose both muscle and fat when you lose weight regardless of weight-loss method, unless you’re actively combating muscle loss by doing weight training or similar.

better yet, lebanese butchers have this raw meat that is safe to eat, drench that shit in olive oil
when i lived in florida i lost 50lbs by biking to work, and cutting sweets (just ate rice and vegetables and chicken mostly) but still didnt have to worry about portion sizes much at all
