Higher intensity is basically more weight. If your 1 rep max in the bench is 100kg, doing sets with 80kg is a high intensity set

It's not that at all. Intensity is how close to failure you go. If you do one rep at 90kg when you couldve done three, it's less intense than doing 7 x 80kg and going until failure. Just keep going until you physically can't lift the weight anymore (not the burn btw)
