>exercising with an injury
Yeah bro just keep doing your ORM deadlift till you feel better
but seriously just rest until you feel 100% normal and don’t strain your back more idiot. What makes you think working out the part that got injured with overexertion will make it better?
Hell no. The freedom of riding is too powerful. Just gotta rehab and focus on other priorities before I purchase a new bike. I’ll miss my 2016 street bob, though I’ll get another Harley.
Was thinking about getting 2021 Ninja because I like the color to hold me over but can’t find them anywhere.
next time lift with your legs and have your back to the bike when you lift. I used to have a 500+ lb CB750 and deadlifting was my best friend for preparing to pick that thing up
Generally with an injury you let it rest and heal. Maybe use ice, heat, massage, stretching. Only do exercises that don't cause pain in the injured area. Strengthening supporting muscles in your core might help.
Your form must be terrible if you hurt yourself trying to lift an R3. I've dropped my R3 like half a dozen times during slow speed buffalo wild wings parking lot maneuvers and have never hurt myself righting it, even while drunk.
It landed next to the curb so I couldn't use any leverage. Had to lift the entirety of its weight. And I lifted it like a jackass and didn't use my legs for shit.
No, you're fricked. Get a cruiser. I crashed mine.
>No, you're fricked.
I dropped it making a tight u-turn, I didn't get in a low side.
>Get a cruiser.
Why?
>I crashed mine.
What happened anon?
I hit a car going ~50mph. Wouldn’t recommend.
Deadlift obviously

I've been doing stretches, going for walks. I was wondering if that's good for recovery.
Did it pull out on you or did you just not see him?
What kind of damages did you sustain?
Didn’t see it. Fractured clavicle and had surgery and some road rash. Lost all my gains and down 57lbs since January.
You done riding?

You sure getting a sportbike is the right move for you?
How long have you been riding
Was looking at ninja 400s to hoon around on. I’ve owned 3 bikes and have been riding for 6 years along with some dirt bikes and quads as a kid.
My brother, with this mentality you're bound to get hurt again. Ride safe and take the hooning to the track.
R3, that's pretty weak of you
I don't have an ego so I'm completely fine with starting on a bike that's forgiving rather than starting on a 600 and ending up fricked up.
No not the bike, the bike is great. The fact you put your back out lifting it.
Yeah I fricked up. I didn't know how to lift it and just brute strengthed 350+ pounds. It was a foolish mistake.
You're not lifting the whole bike. A rough guide is the weight of you bike divided by 3.5 when its on the side. You should be able to lift 100lbs.
