Not the same. Every bodybuilder does both vertical and horizontal pulls because vertical pulls give more definition and horizontal pulls give more width.

Most people don’t do it just because it looks weird. But the real problem with it is you cant get a good stretch at the top compared to something like a one arm dumbbell row.
My back is pretty big and I never do chin or pull ups. Just deadlifts, t-bar row or chest supported DB row, dumbbell pullovers and shrugs. Chin and pull ups are good but they hurt my elbows for some reason and I battle elbow pain on and off so I quit them.
I think people overall have shifted towards back exercises that don't stress their lower backs too much. Seems like chest supported rows such as seal rows and most back machines are getting more popular
I see it like 50% of the time. I only notice because right next to it is where this thot is always doing hip thrusts. I have never seen her do anything else. Maybe she did squats once but yeah.
Saw older guys do it at the gym a long time ago and then never again until tiktok/instagram became popular and have seen broccoli haired zoomers doing it occasionally. Still a good lift though
it's shit. just do pullups jesus christ
powershitters cant do pullups

I think the landmine is probably useful for hitting more obscure muscles like obliques
I feel like the lat pulldown machines are better. I'm homegyming now so I do tbar and barbell rows but i miss the lat pulldown machines
I see it constantly. I always pull that bar out to use for deadlifts just to be annoying
just do machine rows, barbell culture is moronic
I do them in a more upright position with a pronated grip for my shoulders
these suck for my lower back pain
tips? maybe I'm going too heavy
Anything for lats that isn’t a weighted pull up AND a weighted chin is a waste of time.

This is because most gays laze around all day and sit in crap chairs for hours which gives them fricked up lower backs

Because it’s shit. You barely have rom with this exercise
>dyels saying it’s shit
>one of Arnold’s favorite lifts

The landmine

i load it with 25# plates and make it a mock t-bar row, or do meadow rows on it. both are phenomenal workouts.
