I have dropped from 205 to 175 pounds and am now no longer skinny fat but instead just skinny.

I have dropped from 205 to 175 pounds and am now no longer skinny fat but instead just skinny. Do you guys have any tips for me as I now try to add muscle and bulk up a bit so I can become lean and muscular?

I’m going to eat basically maintenance plus like 250 calories a day of mostly chicken and eggs.

            I'm 6ft as well and my goal was 170 but I think realisticly at our height need to be 160 or less to be skinny. Granted I started at 298 and my goal is to try to get rid of all fat and loose skin by losing weight before I try surgery.

            granted you're at a point you can probably think about working for recomp, but I wouldn't yet, especially if you've been exercising to help lose the weight

    I went from 195 to 175 but I did it the slow way with body recomping (intense compound workouts + high protein diet). I'm far from looking super shredded but I don't look DYEL at least.

      I was yeah, ironically I’ve gotten compliments from friends and family for looking bigger despite losing around 30 pounds

    Lift weights. Read a book about to get you started. Do full body workouts and lift 3 days a week. Have a rest week every 2 months or so. Make sure you progressively overload. Make gains and profit

    Good on you bro. I started my journey in a similar way. You need to continue losing weight tho. Lift weights but dont eat at a calorie surplus. Just make sure you get enough protein. I'm not talking about maingaining. I'm talking about getting your body used to weightlifting (bones, stabilizers, etc). Take it nice and easy. This is a marathon, not a sprint. Trying to do this quickly is just your inner fatss looking for an easy out and quick gratification. Don't give in to him or you'll be starting this process all over again at 205. Eat lean meats. Eat very limited carbs. Get good sleep. Do NOT eat a calorie surplus. Lanklets have no fricking idea what they are talking about, ever. They are on easy mode. Their fitness goals involve eating more food than they would like. You are not like them. You fat fricking moron lol. Your 250 cal. surplus is literally you backsliding into fatness. You got this bro, just dont be a moron.

        for a lot of guys, it is pretty fat. some dudes are broad shouldered enough to look good at this weight, but it is not very common. lots of people are overweight right now.
