Get your thyroid and iron levels checked, make sure you're sleeping enough and eating properly, and get your ass up and start doing something. Motivation follows discipline.

This sounds good, but I also like cardio (run outside) to get energy back. Jumping rope or jumping jacks might work too, something easy.

I've been thinking of doing a jog every morning before breakfast for energy and gumption.

Take caffeine pills. No more than 500 mg every 24 hours. Motivates you to lift heavy and socialize.

First ask yourself if you're really stressed recently or bored with your routine. If you've been running the same routine for 6 months straight, you're not sleeping well, or you've been working overtime or something it'll take away your motivation to lift. The other consideration I have is how your iron, thyroid, test, vitamin D, and vitamin B1-12 levels are looking. If it's not something related to lifestyle or a stagnant routine then getting a blood panel done is a good idea

these are the best advice in the thread

I have no motivation to do anything.

Recommend food or supplements that could help me have a bit more energy and restore a normal mood.

this time of year, the tail end of winter, is probably one of the hardest/most stressful times of the year so its extremely important you supplement vitamin d, at least 5000 iu a day
sometimes i feel suicidally depressed in the winter then i realise i didnt take my vitD for a few days, take 10000 iu and the depression goes away like magic
vitamin b1 (100mg) can be a miracle for mental clarity, vitamin b3 and b6 too
calcium is also very important, do your milk reps (at least over a quart a day)
making sure your micros are in check is a very important baseline

like others said, thyroid is also very important as well as the rest of your hormones
but all steroid hormone balance is basically downstream from thyroid, so its important to correct thyroid if you might be hypothyroid (with t3 (liothyronine), dont take t4 (thyroxine) alone bc itll actually suppress thyroid function)

in the meantime, high dose caffeine (like 5 cups of coffee or whatever makes you feel the best, making sure to use sugar so as to not trigger a stress response) and aspirin (1-2 grams a day) can help compensate for thyroid deficiencies and in general will just improve your mood/quality of life
(again its important caffeine is taken with sufficient carbs, such as with a meal or by sugaring/adding cream to your coffee to taste)

lmao Vitamin b isn't even that useful considering you get it from most of your meals anyways getting vitamin k2 however is as well as vitamin C and d3 as well as zinc at the end of a day if you are not consuming enough meat.

the mental clarity/recall augmentation from taking 100mg b1 is very noticeable
and the energy boost from b3 + b6 is also noticeable
it should be noted that the amount of micronutrients in our diets in general has dropped like 70% from 50 years ago from soil depletion (im not sure 70% is exact but its something in that ballpark according to a study by some japanese researchers, too lazy to find now)

also ironic you mention vitC considering that is the most abundant vitamin in our diets and is extremely easy to get simply by drinking orange juice or eating fruit
also its not advisable to supplement vitamin C (ascorbic acid) bc most sources are prone to contamination with heavy metals

OP, the sad thing is that almost every one of these is good advice, but "fatigue" or "anhedonia" can be the symptom of a multitude of different causes.
It could be entirely psychological, or your minerals could be fricked, hard to say until you start testing them out.

Most thyroid problems can be solved with increasing iodine consumption; yes both hyperthyroidism as well as hypothyroidism, it's honestly kind of fricked.
OP, I'm currently taking 50mg every few days.
        >50mg? is that a typo, the RDA is only 220 mcg
        frick the RDA and FDA
        >that being said, don't start taking this much all at once or your thyroid will swell for a couple of days and freak you out, work your way up

        Also,
It was found that most people actually need near 10k IU a day of vitamin D when lacking sun exposure. You're on the right track just don't be afraid to take more.

Take caffeine pills. No more than 500 mg every 24 hours. Motivates you to lift heavy and socialize.

        >500mg caffeine
That would give me terrible anxiety and/or heart palpitations lol. If you go the caffeine route OP, know that caffeine dependency is a thing as well as tolerance, so it's short term at best.
Also you want to pair it with L-theanine to offset some of the bad effects + help give you a little mental boost synergistically.

          >50mg every few days.
          Black person youre moronic
excess iodine suppresses thyroid and even supplementing more than 150 micrograms is too much
thyroid problems caused by lack of iodine are exceedingly rare, almost impossible in any developed western country
any dose in the mg range will cause thyroiditis and 50mg is just absolutely insane and can land you in the hospital

simply drinking a quart of milk a day provides enough iodine and if you eat sea food occasionally youre all set
thyroid problems today are mainly caused by other factors such as xenoestrogens, flouride (the flourine ions take the place of iodine in the synthesis of thryoid hormones and render them inactive), chronic stress, etc
read peats articles on thyroid and read broda barnes's thryoid: the unsuspected illness if youre serious about learning about thyroid

stop being moronic, iodine is no joke and i personally know someone who landed in a hospital bc of a dose similar to yours (i think it was 100mg)

Listen friend, I appreciate the concern but this is something I've been doing for maybe 2-3 years at this point. I've read all the literature as well as well as actually walking the walk.
The initial large dose of iodine that is reported to cause thyroiditis is due to the "wolff-chaikoff" effect, which I did suffer from as I went too hard too quickly, as I alluded to in the post. After a few days the "wolff-chaikoff escape phenomena" kicked in and the swelling went away and I was fine. I did between 50-75mg for several months, and then took a month or two off to make sure there was no issue with thyroid such as it basically being dead and somehow kept alive by iodine(?). To be clear there is no medical literature for that possibility I was just acting out of an abundance of caution. It was fine, as was I.
Now, the reason I started this, was because I suffered from depression for years and felt like shit. I exercised, got a gf, got a new job, moved to a new country, just about everything you could think of and none of it worked. Iodine did.
I'll also inb4 a plausible "placebo effect" post, which would be fair to raise up. As said I did stuff for years; exercise, vitamin D, ashwaganda, dozens of things. If there was going to be a placebo effect, it would have kicked in sooner.
I did get thryoid levels tested as well before hand, and while on the lower side they were within the range of "normal functioning" per whatever they defined it as, it's been a while.

The other anon said "when it's been a few days w/o my vitamin D I feel like shit" or just abouts; it's the same for me and iodine.

The amount of iodine you want to take in case of nuclear fallout is either 200mg or 225mg, I forget which. Either way, the entire point of potassium iodine in-case-of-exposure is to saturate the thyroid so it can't accidentally intake the cesium or whatever else it was. You also need to evacuate anyway for obvious reasons because even if you spare the thyroid, the rest of you is still vulnerable to the fallout.
So yes, that's actually exactly its intended purpose of doing it in large amounts for a short period of time, to saturate the bromide and flouride out of the thyroid.

Anyway, I'll readily agree most probably don't need to take it as I do. It's just that OP may be one who does, as I do/did. It doesn't hurt to toss along the information to him and let him decide for himself.
I could just as easily say
                >taking as much vitamin D as a mole -person
                >just go outside bro
                or something.
also yes I know the standard trolling comments, it's just worth answering seriously every now and then for an anon who may be at his wits end trying to weigh options.

point is, some of the buzz about energy or fatigue is legit, and this was back many years ago when I still had difficulty sifting through stuff.
It never made me "worse", it just made me uncomfortable, like I had too much coffee but without the pep. Also a stomachache.

            >flouride (the flourine ions take the place of iodine in the synthesis of thryoid hormones and render them inactive)
Also I will say that while this is correct, there are two factors you overlooked.
One is that it's not just flouride, it's bromide as well, mentioned in the above posted image, as a side effect of the way modern food and flour is produced now.
Two, is that flushing your system with iodine will flush out the flouride and bromide which is why the iodine protocol says (basically) to do 50mg for three months, then desist and do a normal diet and "as needed", maybe not even needing it because a healthy diet does indeed have it from other sources like milk, seafood, seaweed, etc.

Food or supplements wont fix your mind. Sounds like you feel disattached from society, prolly mostly go thru the motions cause its what youre supposed to do (and you dont want to be homeless).

Find things you enjoy like lifting, playing an instrument, going out and doing shit. Something you want to learn how to do but always put off with some excuse ('no time/money/...').

Most of society drains your attention with bullshit advertisements and a million other tricks of psychological manipulation that all amount to either (1) Go make money or (2) Go spend money. Tuning that out and tuning into the stuff you enjoy, particularly things where you can measure your progress over time, give you some other sense of grounding outside of make money/spend money/die.

This post is me. Just wanted to add that I take quite a number of supplements and I can say the only 3 you really need an abundance of to improve energy levels and physical health:
        >5000ui Vit D (if you get little sun this is a must)
        >3g Vit C (protection from designer viruses and government mandated consumption of microplastics and heavy metals)
        >500mg Niacin (helped greatly improve quality of bowel movements and stopped my stomach aches completely, also gives your skin a little more flush if you are pale like me and help turn food into energy)

Find a goal. That's it. That's the only advice that matters. Everyone who lifts, is insecure about what they look like and how they feel. Some people do it because they want to look strong, others do it because they want to be strong. Others yet still do it because they want to look good naked, so that they can embrace pure vanity and decadence or feel pride in the effort and discipline when some chick marvels at what you've accomplished with your body, etc.

Maybe learn dancing or rock climbing or surfing or hiking or ground, sky, or underwater photography. Learn an instrument, learn how to make something. Learn to cook and be a chef or a baker. Volunteer time at an animal shelter or help out at your local library.

Find a goal. That's the only way to make the insufferable judgement that the mirror makes at you about you, to stop.
