      The best I can do is hit 1600 calories for a week or exercise consistently for a week then i fail. Done this more times than I can count. Recently had a whole week of 1600 calories and i have undone it all the following few weeks

        just like 30mins to a hour a day of constant cardio keeping you heart rate up is enough to loose like a pound a week for me idk about you but yeah something around that should help a lot but if you do that much you have to drink enough water just plain water or else you can risk hurting yourself

        i am about 20 times this fat, so obviously not an expert, but it's the only thing that's ever worked for me, lately i can't do it for longer than 2 days and the longest i've ever been able is a week, but back when i could hit a week, i was doing it consistently enough to lose 150lbs. i gained it all back after a family loss but if that family loss hadn't happened i'd probably be normal by now
        i know you might feel like, if i can't even go below 1600 how can i fast, but in my experience it's actually easier than dieting. when you diet every meal is a complicated decision and the more you have to think the harder your old habits are going to fight against your willpower. when you fast every meal is the easiest decision in the world, the whole decision is just "no" and the only source of difficulty is willing yourself to say it
        ppl here have told me if i ever couldve made it 2 weeks i wouldve reset my bad habits for good and created a metabolic clean slate. i don't know how true that is, but in spite of the challenges you're facing, you obviously have way more willpower than i do overall or i wouldn't be 20 times as fat as that, if i can fast for a week with all the effort in every cell in my body then you can probably fast for 2 weeks like it's nothing if you put your mind to it

    If you exercise and drink a decent amount of water you will be less hungry.
    I also recommend drinking coffee as it is a wonderful hunger suppressant.

    One meal a day is also a great diet if you can do it.

    pic related is just 1 slice of bacon cooked with broccoli and a bunch of spices. really tasty and only like 150 calories. almost got me through tge day on its own but I caved and ate a frozen banana and some peanut butter. should still be like <350 for the whole day though

    coffee and licorice tea are also really good to supress appetite without taking in calories

        just bike some more if your already biking do some more of that and it should help or you can try to like really push yourself while biking but that can get dangerous but a elevated heart rate is what helps with cardio

    for me it would mean at least 100cals lower.
    cause that's the point where my brain can look at the number and notice it's different
    ymmv.
    it's even ok if what you drop to is still above your tdee.
    if that's what you need rn.
    as long as it drops tangibly.
    and you can drop it tangibly again the day after that, and the day after that.
    and before you know it
    you'll be down a good 1000cals/day below your tdee
    (enough to lose 2lbs / ~1kg /wk)
    and hardly even feel like you're trying.
    i for one am gonna take my own advice and do exactly this.
    i used to be able to fast but clearly i can't anymore, at least not cold turkey.
    so maybe i just need a smooth, gentle curve down toward it.

    you look just a bit heavier than me
    i found one meal a day to help losing weight, that and cutting other beverages for water helping a ton.
    alternatively, you can chubbymode, i used to think that was impossible for me b/c of my height but a trip here by "mommymoder" or something, has captured that perfectly and shes like 6ft+.
    in the end, think about what you want for yourself and why, and when it comes to losing weight, it really is just calories in vs calories out.
    if you can't eat less/healthier, move more.
    but most importantly, be kind to yourself. If you make mistakes, don't beat yourself up for it. thats an easy way to spiral back into problematic eating

    Start with small steps, cut out things you know are bad like sugar, greasy stuff, fatty foods like cheese that have a lot of cals, reduce portion sizes, allow yourself a cheat meal (not a whole day) every 4 days or so but don't overdo it when you eat it. Drink alot of water and try to avoid soda or drink diet stuff. try and eat high protein foods they make you feel fuller for longer, also carbs arent bad, they are fuel for muscles

    Go for long walks (30 mins upwards) do bodyweight squats and some pushups, core exercises are good too like planks (tutorials online if too weak. it will help you burn more calories if you have more muscle, also general strength and you won't get bulky doing a few sets a day or every other day)

    frick all the fasting, one meal a day and meme diets

    but make small long-term sustainable adjustments and accept that results will only come with time and self-control. if you do fall off or frick up, just make sure you dont continue to do so

    there, all you have to do has been handed to you on a plate, if you don't make changes nobody will do it for you

    also can just go on IST and read the sticky, will tell you pretty much everything you need to know to find out energy output vs food intake

    Just get on metformin. It made me not just unable to stuff my face, but also made it really hard to reach just basic 1200 calories a day.
    Lost weight from 86 to 63 kg in about half a year
