I just ordered a buckwheat hull pillow, what am I for?

I’m considering putting aromatherapies such as lavender and eucalyptus inside for a better sleep, thoughts?

I have a thick neck so I need support more than anything, I would sleep on a brick if it fit me, but I haven’t tried it yet so maybe I’ll eat my words.

Just a nice solid pillow that doesn't flatten out. It's all they really need to be. I wouldn't put anything that smells too strongly in your pillow. I don't know about you but I get paranoid if something is fricking with smell or hearing in my sleep. Need to be able to sense intruders or fire, though neither has ever happened.

Keyed schizo. Scent doesn’t bother me in my sleep but one time I fell asleep with earbuds, heard a buzz in my left ear while asleep, then woke up abruptly giving myself whiplash.

Just spent half a g on a new Japanese comforter. Thanks for reminding me to buy one of these.

Sweet, I would love to buy a Kakebuton but I don’t have that kinda money for something I don’t really need. Where you ordered yours? Hopefully not J life

Nta, but to be quite honest, you should just save your money and take the no-mattress pill. My kakefuton (which I got from J-Life) was fine, but it didn't resolve my sleeping back issues. I ended up transitioning to sleeping on the floor with some blankets, and I'm never going back.

The key is to sleep on your stomach or side, using your arms or hands as pillows (using real pillows is optional here, either long-term or transitionally). And then you just have to suffer through a few days of discomfort while your body adjusts.

Skip step 2 and just go straight to floor sleeping. Your back and your wallet will thank you.

I confused kakefuton and shikifuton. I actually bought both. The kakefuton is great quality, though. I still use it as a comforter. The only issue is that the cover it came with shrank in the drying machine, so I ended up buying 1 size larger, and that seems to be working well. My shikifuton is the one collecting dust. I don't recommend that.

Yeah, sorry to hear about the J-life shikifuton, bro, turns out it’s a scam and actually just a rebranded American futon and not genuine Japanese craftsmenship.

Seems like it’s just the futons from what I can see though, at least I hope so since I bought pillows from them. Supposedly Futon Beds from Japan and Futon Tokyo are more authentic and trustworthy but also more expensive.

Anyways, I’ll take your advice to heart.

Damn, pretty crazy. Yeah, maybe a legit Japanese futon would be good, but I don't have any problems with floor sleeping. So I guess the J-Life purchase was an expensive lesson.

It's a shikibuton you homosexual. When you form a compound you add tenten to the first syllable of the second word. Sushi train = kaitenzushi.

I know weeb homosexual, but on J life it’s called a shikifuton because it isn’t a genuine shikibuton. You’re in my thread and not even paying attention

    Lavender lowers test.

That said if you want aromatherapy, your test is clearly low enough that the impact wouldn't be noticeable

Oh shit, thanks for telling me. I only considered lavender because it was an option on many websites and I thought it could be a good way to relax and fall asleep faster but lowering T seems not worth it. Thanks, fren!
