I know this guy is a moron and probably a closeted homosexual but for two weeks I’ve done his diet (50% proton, 30% fat, 20% carbs from sweet fruit) and I feel amazing both physically and mentally.
I am also losing fat but I ain’t losing strength and recovery is better than when I was CICOing.

It's possible that his diet advice is really what's working for you, but it's also possible that the effects you're seeing (fat loss, good recovery) is simply because you're eating a consistently very high protein diet.
