What's your leg day routine?
I do too. When I'm dripping with sweat and stumbling to the water fountain like I've taken a bullet, I just know every woman who sees me wants my babies. The test boost is huge

I need your guys' help. What do you do to recover from leg day so you can be functional the rest of the week? I have been lifting heavy for over a decade and naturally have a lot of leg strength, so much leg days go hard. Deadlifts laddering up to 4pl8 and then leg presses at 14pl8 for reps, plus hack squats and lots of accessory work. The problem is that I literally can't walk or bend for the rest of the week and it's a huge problem because I can't run, my other workouts are unnecessarily painful, and I want to lay around pretty much the rest of the time. It's like I can choose to do leg day and am out of commission the rest of the week (recovered just in time for next leg day) or I can have a pain-free week where I can include running in my workouts and do lots of physical stuff outside the gym
Why are u doing deadlifts on leg day?

Increase volume and frequency and decrease load until you can recover properly. If you're only deadlifting once a week and you're destroyed from it for literally the whole week you are going way too heavy
How long does it take you to set it up
Literally the hardest part of my leg day is lugging 45s around the gym to set up 14pl8. There are anons in this thread talking about how leg day makes all the women in the gym go into heat, but panting and sweating to death because you're carrying 45s across the gym is not an attractive look to be sure

I do squat--- I do a lot quad-focused stuff like hack squats, heel-wedge squats with dbs, and split squats. I feel like they are more strictly quad-focused than hibar squats
also I don't like loading my back that heavy anymore. I cant go 100% intensity with bb squats or deadlifts anymore
My legs have always been strong, leg day is my highest volume workout session. It's my upper body that's always been weak af lmao, could never even do 1 pullup

Leg day is the only day I can really sleep without having to go for a sprint down the street like a maniac in the middle of the night.
At the end of my leg session I feel tired and pumped. An hour later I feel like I should have gone harder because I can walk fine. Am I lifting like a pussy or is this normal?
