What knee issues does that method fix?

This has been a game changer for me as well, when it comes to straight up healthy squatting hamstring curl before squatting changes the whole thing.

I'm gonna assume you do them really light weight?

          3 sets of 14-16
Yeah I'd say it's light. I also do hamstrings before lunges. Hamstrings generally before any leg exercise is good, it really opens up the leg so to speak, it activates the leg somehow, it gives a good platform to push off, almost like you do a few sets of rows before benching.
3 plates squats for reps here. It's not like it skyrocketed my squats, but it makes squats "feel better" if that makes sense. I didn't get any direct gains from hamstrung before squats, but it makes squats feel better and more natural.

I feel like a moron for not thinking of this myself. It makes a lot of sense.

Why should you do hamstring curls before squats? I always do them the other way around.

Would this work if I do a different hamstring exercise before squatting? The hamstring curl machine at my gym is in a very awkward and inconvenient place and I would rather not have to use it

of course, it's not about "doing" hams but rather waking them up, they are probably tight, i do stretches hams and calves - lock your knee with quad and tilt pelvis as far as it goes foreward but only pelvis, breathe, most people don't even realize in how many ways u can get curled, stagnant, stiff, locked, immobile, can u walk stairs straight putting whole foot on ground? u shoud be able to

Dunno man. I was in comfy situation where i wasn't being pressured into getting it. So i could calmly decide against it.

But a bunch of my friends and colleagues were pushed to get it by their b***h girlfriends even if they didn't want it. My best friend included 🙁
Plus everyone was doing it, so that thought "what's the harm?"

Frick i hate normies so much. If my buddy gets heart disease I'll find his girlfriend and murder her.

My parents and in-laws tried to force me and my wife to get it but I just told her that this is one of those issues where I won't back down so that made it easier for her to resist as well. I just hope my parents' hearts explode but I've seen a rapid decline in my dad's health since he got the clotshot 🙁

go look at the fit catalog, dude. how many threads right now on this board are on-topic and quality?
you/that guy chose this thread to cry in. this thread is both on-topic and potentially good quality.
the op posted a fitness personality and a thing he learned from watching him.
then another guy posted a reply about a thing he learned by watching him.

now let's have a look at the catalog right now...

10 hour old thread telling anon to get plastic surgery.
5 hour thread of a guy asking how is hair transplant looks.
23 hour thread with some dude with massive moobs
this is just a couple of the threads that you/he did not have a problem with.

at the risk of putting words in your mouth what you are now arguing for is for threads to actually be off-topic so they will sate your desire for novelty and that you actually got mad at an on-topic thread where people are having a good discussion.

I loved that he always made sure that his exercises were possible to do in any gym. No bullshit, just "here's a cool thing you can do, here's sets and reps and where you might fit it in your workout, you might like it, bye."

Roiders had a meltdown on here and reddit because John was always seen as the 'responsible one", knew a ton about nurtrition, SUPPOSEDLY did lower doses, etc. He seemed like a cool dude, but you can admit that having a fricking heart attack and then going to the gym a week later to continue going all out and still doing roids requires a special kind of moron.

It's a compulsive mental sickness that makes dudes work to get that big in the first place. Mass monsters have issues. But he still seemed like a cool guy and knew a lot about the game.
I actually watched his pec minor exercise vid last night and thought 'damn he is absolutely nuked out of breath after one set of pec minor dips and his face looks like it's going to burst off his skull' you could tell he was fit to pop. I'm glad I don't have that compulsion. I just want to get as big, lean and strong as naturally possible and leave it at that.

John Meadows is kinda sad because he desperately wanted to be a pro bodybuilder but he just didn't have a good body no matter what he did and of course it ended up killing him.

He got his procard when he was like 45 and it was clearly out of pity. Like it was all for nothing, he should have stopped trying to chase that dream.

Meadows is an example i bring up when people say "just do roids you'll look fantastic." The guy fricking killed himself for it, did a ton of gear, trained INCREDIBLY hard and correct, ate super well and in the end he just looked like shit. He was big and strong sure, but completely unaesthetic
