Is the raw diet any good, or just a meme?

        Anonymous

Meme. Humans evolved over the past million years or so cooking food. Living on raw food is idiotic

Mostly a meme. There's marginal benefits to certain foods raw, but mostly fruits and veg - As the other anon said, cooking massively propelled us forward, makes meat immensely more digestible for us.

Chicken, pork chops, any seafood, lentils if you're feeling something more veg heavy, etc. It looks like you're eating pretty simple right now so you could just switch out the steak for any other protein option. If you want recipes I can help there too

If you can i would like some recipes for chicken breasts. At the moment I just sprinkle some seasoned salt and black pepper on 4-5 pieces and toss it in the oven. It gets. oring

        Salsa Shredded Chicken
Get a crockpot set on high or an oven set to 200°F. Put down a layer of salsa and place the raw chicken on top. Nearly cover the chicken with salsa. Doesn't need any further seasoning. If you still want to add some I'd recommend minced garlic and a little cumin. Maybe some lime juice. No salt because the salsa has plenty. Let cook for 6-7h and then shred the chicken in the juices. Kino as a burrito or over rice

        Chicken Soup
Roast the chicken breast at 450°F with some salt and pepper until done (roughly 25m), then set aside. While it's cooking, on a stove top, bring a stockpot to medium heat. Chop up lots of onion, carrots, and celery. Doesn't even need to be done well. Put some olive oil in the pot and cook the veg with a little salt until it starts developing some color and the onions are transparent. Dump in a bunch of chicken stock and a handful of fresh herbs of your choice (I'd recommend parsley, rosemary, and thyme) and give it a stir to make sure there's no veggies sitting on the bottom. Bring to a boil. Lower the temp to low and let it simmer for 1h or until the veggies are soft. After the hour chop up the baked chicken and add it to the soup. Let simmer for another 15m or so. Next you can add in rice/pasta of choice and cook until the starches are done. If you're cutting carbs the pasta or rice isn't necessary

        Asian BBQ Chicken Sandwich
In a bowl mix together 1/4c. hoisin sauce, 1/4c. onions sauce, 2 minced garlic cloves, 3 tbsp rice vinegar, 2 tbsp honey, 1/2 tsp fivespice powder, and 1/8 tsp crushed red pepper. Slice 2 pounds of chicken breast (2 large breasts or 4 small breasts) into 1" thick sheets like cutlets. Easier if slightly frozen. Put half the sauce into another bowl and marinate the chicken overnight. Trash the marinade. Grill the chicken (or use a pan if you don't have a grill) until done, put it on some good bread (sourdough is king), and top with sauce and pickled carrots + radishes. Mayo too if desired

Chicken, rice, pickles, cottage cheese and beans

I'm sure this tastes good but it's all over the place. It reminds me of what you see on those oldschool bodybuilding meal plans. You'd get like a boiled piece of fish, a raw carrot, a baked sweet potato, and a couple of nails for minerals
