Same bro. When I was younger I was a skelly and hated how hard it was to put on muscle. But I'd kill to have my gaunt face and 6 pack back. I'm down 10kg but have at least another 10 to go before I'm feeling sexy again.

Have you tried eating nothing except for 0 calorie vitamin supplements and water? If you're exceptionally fat, you're body can theoretically survive on the fat you have. You can do this if your goal is just to lose weight

stop eating is unhealthy. sure, some people do fasting but afterwards they're silly and eat the same shit as before or start wrong so the bodyweight escaltaes. losing weight too fast rise the risk to get baggy skin. Also while losing weight the chemistry changes. If u lose too fast bw bodychemistry will get in trouble.
Losing weight healthy means losing roundabout 1kg* per week.
*Depends on weight, if u're fatty fatfat it's okay to lose 1% of bw too. But in most cases it's max. 1kg per week.

I lose weight healthy. Most of it with the right diet. Some sports too from time to time.

I feel ya. Wish I would have stayed in normal weight range but I was dumb and lazy. Now it's a long way. I'm on my way to -5kg.

Be proud about u anon. 10kg is much. half of your way is done. In roundabout 10 weeks u'll achive ur goal. Go on! YGMI.

      how much calories was it?
If ur deficit is too big u won't lose much work. ur body isn't dumb.
A healthy deficit is max 500cals. More will get u in binge eating or u lose slow or no weight.

Cutting is like building muscle. It's just a game of patience and consistency. What makes us impatient is because we have a quantifiable metric to visualize progress, ie the scale. So we want that number to go down fast because we can actually see a number that represents progress.
Just be patient, it's just like building muscle.

u're right. we're too obsessed in the number and we're longing for fast change. But most of the time, especially when u lose weight, change won't come fast. At least not healthy.

it sucks but the will to achive my goal is much bigger so yeah i'll stay patient. Time will come and I'll finally feel kinda satisfied with myself and my body.

i think it was around 800-1000 calorie deficit
i also did alot of jump rope during that time

exactly your BODY is not as stupid as YOU are. your body will not simply stop losing weight if u go on a bigger deficit lmfao.

my brother went from 90kg to 70kg in 5 months on a 1000kcal deficit. i was on a 750kcal deficit and lost 3kg a month. so both of our weight losses followed to a tee the exact formula of -500kcal daily deficit = 2kg a month.if u eat less u lose more weight, who the frick would have thought? but no u have to be superstitious and believe in bullshit non-sense advice.

I would be careful to call scienes ''stupid'' or ''bullshit non-sense adcive''.

The higher the deficit the higher the risk to binge eat. As I wrote the chemistry get some trouble too when the weigh is lost too fast.
When u want to a frick ur body up and have a high deficit. u're welcome. it's ur body. It's ur choice.

This is why I crash diet and only eat 1k calories a day, especially in this heat I won't be able to do cardio or anything than a maintaining lifting session

''crash diets'' are dumb. Only triggers binge eating.
Eating 1k cals is too less - especially for a boy. that's only fricking ur body up.
Ur basis need is roundabout 2k cals.

i think it was around 800-1000 calorie deficit
i also did alot of jump rope during that time

Too high deficit. Fricks the body up.

          it really doesn't
it took me like 3+ years to gain 10kg of fat while i was playing video games 16h/day and didn't train
i was able to lose that in 3-4 months. just manage your expectations and be realistic. just think about how fricking long it took you to end up in the situation where you are now.

It took me roundabout 4 months to gain 15kg. it's not that much ''fricking long''. but yeah, i could lose it in this time again.

          I wanna be healthy.

Eating clean makes a huge difference. Water weight will absolutely destroy your physique, no matter how lean you are. Guy in picrel's a roidtroony, but the point still stands.
Even when I was at my absolute leanest, I would still look like fricking dogshit after a single cheat meal. I needed to eat strictly clean for at least 2 weeks before I looked good.
      Be wary of water retention.

Asked a fren (sporty af and into clean bodybuilding) if I should eat clean to only lose bf% like bodybuilders do after bulking. He said no. Would be too tough. I would have to eat strictly for years to gain my wanted weight. He said, ''Not even me could stand it that long." So I only stay in daily deficit and eat whatever fits in. Most of the time healthy stuff. From time to time shit like pizza too. Losing weight is mission no1. To build the body will be mission no2

Really? I find eating clean to be the easiest way of losing weight. Just don't be lazy. You can make clean meals that also taste good. He probably assumed you'd be eating plain rice & chicken.

Staying in a always the same deficit seems to be hard imo. In normal life u don't eat always the same, u don't burn the same amount of calories every day. The deficit fluctuate.
If I would make a definition phase I would have to stay in a deficit of 300cal. Every day. For years. That's tough.

What do you call ''clean eating''? Got the feeling we're talking at cross purposes.

As I wrote: most of the time I eat healthy. Self-cooked stuff. Every day vegetables. A few times in the month I eat stuff like pizza, cake or such shit. When I do I adjust my other eatings to my free cals to stay in deficit.

I don't get water retention or a bloated stomach that much.

I'm fine with losing muscles too. There's always the possibility to regain them.

but glycogen water stores in your muscle make you look more muscular

Think of this way, you are literally turning mass into movement. Isn't that absurd? The idea of something material becoming immaterial just throughmovement. It seems impossible, it is possible, but its definitely not easy. You got this.

That's the life lesson of it all, that progress takes time and there are no shortcuts. I mean frick I've been on a calorie restriction since May 1st and it gets unpleasant that it's taking so long but it's worth it. I'm down from 205 to 176 as of yesterday. Gonna aim for 12% body fat before August ends. Stay strong man
