I still can't reach 15 push up repetitions after like two weeks of doing them.

I still can't reach 15 push up repetitions after like two weeks of doing them. I do about eleven once, then 8 and the that number keeps dropping. What is my problem? I just want to do 15 reps in 3 sets like a normal person.

Or do I just quit?

Are you doing other work outs? Do you have a good diet?

Squats, plank, sit up, leg raises, stuff you can do with 5 kg weight. i am not a specialist.

I don't know. I eat lentils, potatoes, cooked vegetables, fruits, eat tea and sweet pastry in the morning, sometimes i buy a gummies. Yesterday I bought tiny pizza.

You might be literally dying and your muscles are progressively wasting away

Uh-oh, did I hurt Anon's feeling? Maybe try not being such a pathetic homosexual. I could do 30 push-ups untrained and malnourished on a shitty vegetarian diet

I find unimaginable to do so much. It's not like I am unwilling. My muscles simply refuse to do more.

I just took a look at my training log and it took me 5 weeks to do 15 pushups starting from 10 by doing them once a week for 3 sets. Don't worry about it.

I don't have a training log. What exercises are you doing? I can't go to gym.

For chest and triceps I do bench press, pushups and scullcrushers. The pushups are done after 3 sets of OHP and bench press. From my layman perspective I would say you are either training to frequently or your training intensity is too high. Your reps dropping with each succeeding set is completely normal if you train at your absolute limit.

I can only do bodyweight with no equipment.

That's untrue there is always enough space for bands, a pullup bar and a pair of adjustable dumbbells. Regardless, you don't need equipment to increase your performance on pushups and like I mentioned in my first post I think you are overreacting and need to chill.

I am certainly overreacting, because I don't know what to do and I can't tell if do thing right. Exercising isn't a natural part of me. I could quit at any moment to be honest. I don't want to.

I have zero experience with bodyweight only training so the help i can give you is very limited. If I was in your postion I would just do as many pushups as possible every two days until it stops working. Then I would alternate between volume work using sets across and more intense training with descending reps. Go ask in /cbg/ if you want real adice

                What is volume work?

Volume work is a meme derived from strength training. Strength trainees segment their training into blocks named after their purpose. A volume day or volume block is a segement dedicated to the purpose of hypertrophy, so muscle building. A common way to split training is to have a volume block to build muscle followed by recovery block to rest while practicing the movement pattern and a intensity block to display or build strength.

If you're fat you might want to pursue another method of working out for weight loss at first. If you're not just keep at it, eat right, get your rest. You'll see progress after a bit.

      I am really fat. 170lbs. 186cm.

I am at 3 now. I can't do more. What is the correct step after this? I am dissatisfied.
