I think Im going to make a way of squatting by attaching Home Depot buckets to either end of a pole so I can squat at home without a rack.

How is this any different than a barbell + weights?
If the buckets are too heavy you'd still need a rack

You won’t get stuck under the bar if you can’t lift the weight with this method. You elevate the buckets off the ground to begin, then you take a step forward and squat. If you tie the buckets at the end of the pole correctly, they’ll touch the ground at the bottom of your squat.

I see. I guess you need really tall buckets

Or get some chain/chord so you can fine tune the distance from the pole to bucket handle you want.

Be careful not to spill water all over your hardwood floor/carpet/whatever else you have for flooring.

Unless you're squating buckets of rice or something like that, but you still gotta be careful not to spill rice all over the floor and making a mess.

Ghetto pole bends -> buckets slide off -> chaos ensues. Figure out a way to secure those buckets too.

Thick wood pole, attach hooks to ends of pole. Simple

Good idea but poor implementation, the knives restrict too much RoM
