I think I've been robbed by my barbell supplier.
I've got a home gym with cage, barbell plates etc that I use all the time but I also work away sometimes. This last two weeks I've been using a commercial gym and all of my lifts seem harder at the same weight. I'm convinced my home barbell is only 15kg when it was meant to be 20kg. Its a 7ft bar. All my PRs are now in tatters. I need to weight the bar when I get home.
If it isn't the bar, what else could it be? Why am I struggling more in commercial gyms than my home gym? Could it be mental? I don't feel anxious about lifting infront of people or anything.
Home gym master race.

Never type those words to anyone homosexual. Also it depends completely, I moved to Asia and they brand of the bar they use is different, the weighting feels more centered and even after 2 months I still feel uneven when benching.
Its habit that gets you used to one thing, you're still strong regardless of the equipment anyway
>you're still strong regardless of the equipment anyway
Thanks bro
Peer pressure, you're used to being in your element. If it bothera you too much buy a scale and just get the weight of you holding it to get a more accurate reading. Also don't listen to he's a pedophile
My fiance is 145cm and aged 26 anon. So yes, basically. Asia is the best.
NEVER get wide on your own supplied
POOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOST IIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIT
maybe u rest more at home. at the gym ur more compelled to go faster because people are waiting
I autisticaly use a timer app to time my rests to the second.
can you just weight it? like stand on the scales with and without it and calculate the difference? Maybe you just went for the cheaper version and bought a female Olympic bar that is 15 kg?
In general, how can't you tell if something is 20 or 15 kg?
The description on the site I got it from said 20kg 7ft. I will weigh it when I return home.
if it isn't then return it you moron
I got it three years ago and it's not straight forward to return a 7ft 15kg object
It might have to do with the thickness of the bar. I had something similar on bench press when I went from homegym to the normal gym again.
Shit if only there were a device you could use to measure the weight of an object
Shit if only you had learnt to read properly in school
I also had trouble benching when switching gyms, they all seem to have different barbells
In the end I just said frick it and started doing db bench
Are we neighbors anon? I live in that very city you show on the map. Kinda odd to see locals
You live in the coin slot?
