Most people here are Jack. That is they won't care about martial arts but will be obsessed with looking ripped and tall and doing the poses and if they do win a fight it'll be through brute force
I'd like to avoid the Jack route if possible but I'm not 100% against it. I'm sure there's a way to reach their level with just my own body and mind. I just need to figure out how
>I want to be as fit and formidable as a Baki character. How can I achieve this?
Have you seen how that little shit trains and eats?
If I go to that level too early I'll destroy my body. But there's a way to get to that point. I just know it
it's not possible without pharma. you cant get big naturally but you'll never be lean and big without pharma. plus you're looking at 5+ years to achieve that physique naturally when you could get it in under a year with pharmacology (if your body responds to it well)
third best martial art for self defense is sistema
second is marksmanship and first is foot racing
if you don't wanna protect yourself and just want to hurt people so you're a credible threat, get into an MMA club and study lots of tapes to see if you can reverse engineer the MMA metagame

People don't realize that a lot of what makes an anime character a desirable aesthetic is more that just the body. The face and the hair is probably more than 80% of what makes it desirable.

I know fighters and strongmen eat a shitload of sugar between rounds and bouts. Don't know how I could have missed the coke example

Strength is 2 years in progress and boxing is locked in. Time to schedule a judo class
>boxing >judo >show is literally called baki the grappler
bro learn bjj or something
He can learn all the grappling he needs from Judo. Have you even read the manga? Baki is much more of a striker than a grappler even if that is the name
I used to wrestle. I think I can get a lot out of that and learn the submissions from BJJ. I think I understand the logic of it from what I've seen and experienced
Don't drink 2L of coke between rounds, or even in a day.
You're not training like those strongmen and you're not on the gear they are.
That's saved for days where workouts are entirely too long to be called reasonable. 2L a day normally would be crazy
idk what is translated from, but in the show they never use grappler to mean "someone who grapples"
they always mean "anime muscle man with the most elite anime muscle man abilities"

Drink 2L Coke in one sitting.
don't forget to shake the bubbles out
gas bubbles occupy stomach space and slow down your gains
or just drink gatorade instead
Lift for 5 years to become as strong and explosive as possible, then train Lethwei or boxing and Judo
