Read the sticky.
Stop posting tranime, gay.
the sticky has a more than one program, so how do i pick the right one?
When you're starting from nothing, there IS NO right one. You have to actually get off your ass, start putting in some work, and figure it out for yourself based on your physiology.
im going to check out some local gyms today, anything i should be on the lookout for as both red and green flags? its been years since i last went
You should build discipline before going to the gym. Idk about your actual condition but if you are a novice you should start with pushups and pullups and run, run a lot not for the army test but for the bootcamp.
>run a lot not for the army test but for the bootcamp.
yeah, resistance training is extremely important for boot camp
Kettlebell swings, snatches, getups, combined with dips. Do biking, running, or swimming for cardio
Anime website
>i want to enlist in the army
yea i know
isnt gomad a complete meme? hell i barely drink a liter of water a day
if your skinny as fuck its a good idea but a terrible idea long term
im about 160lbs skinny fat. my physique makes me really want to avoid bulking
Alright so you're not Morbiusly obese, Ironically that makes things a bit harder.
What I'd say to do is calisthenics since that's what militaries have you do.
For instance, one day you'd do like 4 sets of push ups to failure, as well as dips.
The next it'd be pull-ups, and other stuff like that. Idk I haven't done bodyweight shit in years.
This guy has a good plan to start with fitness-wise.
Considering the pic you started the thread with I'd go on duolingo and start Russian lessons this instant. Wagner group is entirely Russian-speaking.
Also you CAN, but do not have to, bring your own gear from what I've heard. To minimize the risk of getting a fucking Mosin, try to get your hands on an AK-pattern rifle and familiarize yourself with it. 7.62×39 is gonna be the most common ammunition on both sides. Running out mid-firefight would suck. Really bad.
try to get your hands on some body armor. Level 2 or above plates if you can afford it. Even DNR/LPR militia has spare helmets so you'll get one.
Most importantly, watch the fucking skies! Ukrainian drones are everywhere at this stage. A grenade dropped right on top of you will NOT end well. A lot of them are Amazon-civilian-drone tier though, so a few well-placed rounds can and will save you, and the rest of your squad. (or whatever Russia calls their equivalent)
nah you don't know, but when your asshole gets spread open you will know
Starting strength + GOMAD
what army?
globohomo or vatmoron?
both really, i want to become an interpreter officer
>both really
for what army? Interpreter officers are not as valuable as actual interpreters.
An interpreter doesn't need to be part of the armed forces. An officer is.
All you need is a pulse to fodder for Russiaa
i still need to make it though basic training
some eu country. i know they can employ civilian interpreters, but my language skills arent good enough for that, hence enlisting will add 1.5-2 years of language classes
i have no problem with discipline, i quit going to the gym a few years ago because of knee issues that seem to be resolved now, as long as i dont go ass to grass
how fucked am i if i need to do 2400m in 12 min
moron are you really expecting to enlist in the army, get language courses for free, and then become an interpreter?
yes, thats how it works in my country
what country moron? eastern or central EU?
northern
bumping for getting this sort of back on topic. what should i look for in a good gym?
olympic barbells and a squat rack
what gym doesnt have that as a minimum
are you dumb? im literally saying i want to get fit before so i can pass the phsical test
ill check it out
it doesnt worry me at all, not to mention we are talking roughly 3-4 years til im done with the officer school
much appreciated anon, ill write it down and bring it with me
planet fitness lol
not american, we dont have that here
do elaborate
so i should emphasize cardio?
have a nice day you pathetically weak fuck
We don't need anymore fat retards in the army
Regular retards are still ok though. OORAAH Devil Dog!
Go to Iron Wolf channel, pick whatever shit he does that you like and stick to it.
>Enlisting in the army
>With everything going on right now
Call me a coward but I'd rather not end up in a pov of an Amazon drone dropping a grenade on my head.
It's an extremely low risk career unless you're an Ukranian, Taiwanese, Chinese or a moskal.
You're not thinking months or years into the future. There's no way the Ukraine situation doesn't fly out of control this year and there's a very good chance Taiwan will pop off based on the number of jet incursions increasing every month.
Both of which would require Americans direct involvement.
Yeah fuck off mr armchair doomsday fag
Nothings gonna happen
Not only Taiwan, but Turkey might go into syria, uzbekistan into turkmenistan and tajikistan.
>There's no way the Ukraine situation doesn't fly out of control this year
Do you seriously take Russian threats seriously? Omg what are they going to do, start charging extra for anal? They can't so anything without nukes, and Daddy Xi won't let them.
Irrelevant shitholes. Who actually gives a shit?
You're an actual retard. Russia pretty much lied to Xi about the war, saying they won't do it days before they did it.
>Irrelevant shitholes
Oh man, you ARE retarded.
What? They're irrelevant shitholes with irrelevant brown people? Let Turkey (a relevant demi-shithole with brown people) deal with them.
Russia did not expect the war to be a shitshow of this scale. China will not allow Putin to use nukes, ever. If you think nukes are an option, you are hysteric little gay with low T. Simple as.

not OP but still curious: how many months do i have to go through this routine to see results?
Run. Run. Run sum more.
If you can run, recruit training is piss easy. If you cannot run but can bench 3 plates, recruit training is going to suck balls
I joined weighing 121 lbs. When I got out I was 155 of pure angermuscles. They'll get you squared away if you don't get injured too bad
did they give you any kind of physical qualification tests?
>im a total weakling with no strength or stamina
so were most of the people i served with. that's what basic training is for
Calisthenics. Running, pushups, pull ups, abs. That's it.
Imagine signing up willingly to spread global homo to goat fuckers and protect morons from chink influence.
Don't forget to die to Israel!
