Upper an lower body split, it's the way I've always trained. Cal = calisthenics. But you've got to run to get lean.

No not at all. It's just that meat is pretty heavy. I get nearly all of my protein from yogurt and cottage cheese until dinner.
So if I eat meat everyday, i can still reach my goal. He told me that i can cut carbs too.
And he does make me do calisthenics for upper and lower (ie push-ups, pull ups which I suck at, lunges etc)

I wouldn't cut carbs, you need glycogen for ATP synthesis and for proper brain function even. I suggest a hearty helping of rolled oats in the morning. You want complex-chain carbs, and not simple ones (polysaccharides vs monosacharides).

I don't know what the frick that is. Like a rowing machine is used for resistance training, if that's what you're referring to. I'm sure it's aerobic, but what I mean by cardio is getting up and moving your fricking body. Jog and sprint.

No that’s moronic, unless you have a disorder carbs are going to give you a better workout. I ran 531 boring but big to get pretty boy mode. You could get to 150 in a year or year and a half if you’re super on point and actually lean bulk.
I still have some belly fat and love handles though. I’m on the skinny fat side. How do I get rid of those? David/prettyboys don’t have that.

Probably because you’re a skinny twink with no muscle. I started at 130 ish and had love handles even though my body fat was low. Gain muscle and cut later, if you lean bulk you may even start to appear leaner, even if you aren’t.

Yes multiply your body weight by 0.8 and you should be eating about that many grams of protein per day

Nonsense. A good buddy of mine said frick being lean and bulked all the way up to 250 at 6’1. He looked like an absolute fricking tank, like Tony Soprano mode but with bigger arms and shoulders. Then he cut down to 225 and he has abs…and he utterly BTFO’s me and all my other friends, some of whom have taken steroids. For years I spun my wheels saying “oh dear I’m getting too fat” and I was a mere 180 Lbs with insanely weak lifts. People have been permabulking and getting fat for decades, it’s the right thing to do. Just make sure you’re disciplined enough to lose the excess.
I got up to 188 and looked like shit, now I went down to 176 and look much better but I'm still not lean.
Im sick of the problems associated with bulking and cutting, in about to just go back to maintenance. Frick being hungry, frick stuffing your face and being a fat tub of shit
you will not end up bigger than pic related even if you tried to become as big as possible. assuming you are in that bodyfat range. obviously you can be bigger if you want to be 40% bodyfat. but as natural with abs no you are realistically not gonna end up bigger even if you wanted to so just train like a bodybuilder, the result will be the same.

not true at all. i cut 175-145 doing nothing but walking and bouldering and eating at a deficit for a few months
