      because otherwise i will get kicked , i am the one making sure the kitchen stays clean after closing wich means i have to wait till the fricking slave-cooks finish all the meal prep for the next few days resulting in me working 12-15 hours. This is what happens when you are a neet for long enough to become a fricking wage slave.

      Thats just how it is sometimes. 10 to 12 hours are usually the norm. At least where I work.

      He's being made to do illegal things. The management uses other co-workers to shame him into compliance. If he takes his break they start beating him like the apes in the ladder and water experiment.

      the main cook is an old wholesome lady in her 50s who most times work 20 fricking hours straight. This restaurant is actually part of a public building made by the goverment wich is crazier. We have all paid for this shit.

        A place I worked at removed downtime to do uptime things because they wanted staff busy and making money 24/7. Less workers more work. It's bonkers.

      Restaurant are ridiculous places to work. In my country there's actually a small crisis because with Covid and a general change in mentality a lot of the workforce realized that actually being a waiter fricking suck ass and quit/never came back. Now restaurant owners are blaming the "lazy youth" for not wanting to work 15 hours shifts for a pittance.

      A friend of mine was working practically 7/7 12 hours a day for months and ended up quitting soon after.
