Now restaurant owners are blaming the "lazy youth" for not wanting to work 15 hours shifts for a pittance.
A friend of mine was working practically 7/7 12 hours a day for months and ended up quitting soon after.

restaurants seem to exist in some quasi-legal loophole for all of this kinda shit, nobody ever gets "breaks" you just get downtime.
A place I worked at removed downtime to do uptime things because they wanted staff busy and making money 24/7. Less workers more work. It's bonkers.
