Every time i visit my GP for anything i see the doctors waddling around from room to room like big bowling balls passing things to the secretaries and they have masks on and are breathing heavily. Out of like 10 doctors working, at least 6 are overweight or obese.
Aren't these guys the experts on health and disease preventions? Why would they be perfectly fine with getting fat if it was such a grave health concern?
>taking health advice from doctors
ISHYGDDT
What's the alternative then? I was told those truther medical people who recommend herbs etc are schizos because they believe covid was some conspiracy. If i have dizziness, pain etc i go to a doctor.
>I was told
Good keep doing that, also get off of IST and IST in general.
>”anon, you have diabetes”
>wtf i’m never taking advice from doctors again
>go to IST
>ask what excessive thirst, weird smelling breath, and tiredness are a symptom of
>”you have gyno”
>"low T"
You literally have cancer
Do you live in the US? Because I'm not and rarely encounter fat doctors. Actually, I don't think I've ever seen one as fat as the one in OPs pic. At best a bit of belly. The nurses and medical assistants are usually a bit fatter but again, I don't remember ever noticing someone with a bmi of 30+. If overweight, closer to 25 than 30.
Thanks, Doc
you're american and american diets are so calorie rich they all become fat, it's inevitable, your food is completely fricked and doing cardio won't help a lot considering that everything is spaced miles apart
That's like asking why the mechanic drives a piece of junk or why a civil engineer doesn't just live in a mansion he built by himself.
Seems reasonable to ask
Some people do not give enough of a shit to take care of their own problems even if it's related to their job, or they simply keep their personal and professional lives separate.
It's reasonable only to idiots.
Civil engineers don't live in a mansion built by himself because no matter how skilled the engineer, he's not going to build a mansion by himself, at least not in any reasonable timeframe (nor does he even have all the necessary skills: he didn't go to school for electrical engineering for one).
A mechanic could drive a piece of junk because most mechanics are not rich. He could know how to service a Porsche but not be able to afford even the wheels of one.
A doctor can be obese because they are not required to as healthy as possible: that's literally not part of their job. Do you make your own fries at home because you work at McDonald's? No, you, McWagie, likely have enough of that at work and don't want to do more of it at home. Also, many doctors have less free time than many other professionals (to work out or cook for himself) yet more resources (to buy garbage food).
Electrician != Electrical Engineer
They don't care about their health. They're doctors because they get paid well and have a position of authority.
they're obese out of guilt, i hope.
Literally all the doctors I've me, including my dentist, were at least skinnyfat. My dentist was the buffest one tho.
I have literally never seen a fat doctor my whole life. What the frick are you even talking about?
doctors have very stressful jobs and schedules that your NEET self couldnt fathom
Because the job is literally a gains goblin
>16+ resident on call
>Easily doing 70+ hours a week
>Every nurses station filled with chocolates from patients
You either live on coffee and cigarettes or snack non stop on shit.
>t. Resident
open your own practice, every GP ive had has been fit as frick even the nurses and PA's have been into exercising. my current GP is a PA who knows alll about bodybuilding and powerlifting, steroids, nutrition you name it. even talked about getting me on clomiphene at some point in the near future since my ass is getting old whether i want to admit it or not. said if that didnt work out he knew a few good HRT clinics he could recommend me to
Not just obesity, but shit like alcoholism and heavy smoking is really common for doctors and often starts in medical school. They're the ultimate "do as I say, not as I do" profession. My dad was a doctor and died in his 40s from a heart attack because he was a former alcoholic (0.5-1 bottle of whiskey per day), former heavy smoker (quit when I was born, 8 years before he died), and a disgusting glutton (too many things to list here that my mom has told me about, but one thing he used to do was fry an entire pepperoni package and eat it as a sandwich). The average doctor is probably less healthy than the average American.
fufufu sounds like an americ*n problem
Compared to gen pop in USA, doctors are less likely to be obese. OP lose weight so you can stop looking at the world through them thick eyes
>Out of like 10 doctors working, at least 6 are overweight or obese
8 out of 10 Americans are overweight or obese, so there you go
My doctor is a middle-aged man at a healthy weight who was born in India. he's pretty cool, although he's the only Indian I know who isn't into STEM. i learned about the Great Gama from him.
Same reason I know I'd be happier if I stopped looking at porn, but do anyway. Being numb and irresponsible is easier than trying and failing.
